Conservation of Energy Theory: How Humbleness Leads To Riches
From the realm of spiritual wisdom, may I present Conservation of Energy Theory.
Our daily energy is like currency—we’re given a finite amount each day to invest wisely, waste carelessly, or save for greater returns. This energy, known in the body as ATP (adenosine triphosphate), fuels our every action, thought, and emotion. Just as with money, the way we spend our energy shapes our rewards, both immediate and lasting.
The Law of Return
In the physical world, Newton’s law states, “Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.” But in the mystical realm, it’s said, “Every positive action returns to us multiplied, while every negative action returns with similar force.” Whether in the Quran, Bible, or other spiritual texts, we’re taught that our actions return to us—blessings for good deeds and lessons for wrongs. This mysterious but powerful law means that our choices create outcomes, often beyond our imagination.
Immediate vs. Long-Term Returns
Have you ever wondered where all the blessings for your good deeds go? In times past, people lived simply, lacking the abundance of today’s luxuries in food, clothing, and technology. Yet they experienced blessings in deep and meaningful ways. Today, many of our blessings manifest in physical comforts and conveniences, satisfying us instantly. But if we choose not to use our blessings on material comforts, what then?
Energy, like money left unspent, accumulates. This saved energy can transform into something beyond the material: love, wisdom, spiritual insight, healing, even opportunities that wealth alone cannot buy. Choosing where our blessings go is a powerful decision in itself.
An Example in Action
Imagine this: you’re given $10 and choose to donate $5 to someone in need. On your way back, you discover your favorite meal on special for exactly $10—a coincidence, perhaps, or a gift for your kindness? If you purchase the meal, you’ve received your reward in material form. But if you choose to save, this unspent blessing remains with you, ready to manifest in another, possibly more profound, way.
This energy conservation can eventually unlock rare blessings: health, love, financial success, or creative inspiration. Our choices show God our devotion, demonstrating that we trust Him to fulfill our true desires in due time.
Guidance from Prophets and Saints
Many saints and prophets, including Prophet Muhammad ï·º, often lived humbly, setting their sights on higher rewards. When they encountered worldly comforts, they would say, “I shall have it better in the Hereafter,” storing their rewards for eternity. God promises in the Quran, “For those who seek goodness in both this world and the Hereafter, they are the blessed ones.” These saints taught us that conserving our blessings is a sacred path, allowing divine favor to manifest in profound and lasting ways.
The Energy of Choice
So, what does this mean in daily life? Should you deny yourself every comfort? No. Enjoy the blessings you feel grateful for; the key lies in mindful appreciation. Choose the comforts that nourish you and express gratitude without complaint for what you lack. If you’ve fulfilled all your needs and want nothing more, that’s wonderful. But if you find yourself yearning for love, health, or prosperity, perhaps consider conserving a portion of your blessings.
Choose simplicity in food, clothing, and possessions where possible. Avoid filling your home or life with excess that doesn’t bring you true happiness. Each humble choice accumulates energy, bringing you closer to your deeper desires.
Conserving to Manifest Your Greatest Desires
This conscious conservation is powerful, especially if you believe in the law of attraction. By refusing anything less than what truly fulfills you, you’re telling the universe—or God—that you’re saving your energy for a purpose, showing patience, trust, and commitment.
In doing so, you create a reservoir of potential blessings, ready to appear in the form you need most. Just like saving money, your blessings accumulate, waiting for the perfect moment to bring forth the joy, love, wisdom, or freedom you’ve been seeking.
