Step-by-Step Guide: Setting Up Your Facebook Business Portfolio to Collaborate with an Agency

To ensure we can effectively manage your Facebook Page and run ads on your behalf, follow these steps to set up your Meta Business Portfolio and grant our agency access. Let’s get started!

Step 1: Log Into Meta Business Tools

  1. Go to business.facebook.com.

  2. Click Log in with Facebook (or Instagram if your account is linked there).

  1. Enter your Facebook login credentials (email/phone and password) to proceed.



Step 2: Access Your Business Portfolio Settings

  1. After logging in, navigate to Settings (usually in the top-right menu).

  2. Under Business Portfolio Info, confirm your business details:

    • Legal business name

    • Address

    • Phone number

    • Website



Step 3: Connect or Create Your Facebook Page

  1. Under Accounts > Pages, click Add an Existing Facebook Page if you already have one.

    • Search for your Page by name or ID.

    • Select it and click Connect.

  2. If you need a new Page, click Create a New Facebook Page and follow the prompts.

  1. Under Accounts > Ad Accounts, click Add to:

    • Create a new ad account (if starting fresh).

    • Connect an existing ad account (search by name or ID).

  1. Go to Business Portfolio Info > Partners.

  1. Click Add a Partner and enter our Partner Business ID (we’ll provide this to you).

  2. Click Next to confirm.



Step 6: Grant Access to Your Page

  1. Under Assign Assets and Permissions, select Pages.

  2. Choose your Page and assign permissions:

    • Partial Access: Allows us to manage content, ads, and insights.

    • Full Control: Grants broader access (recommended for seamless management).

  3. Do Not Click Assign Assets and click on the next Ads Account.



Step 7: Grant Access to Your Ads Account

  1. Under Assign Assets and Permissions, select Ad Accounts.

  2. Choose your Ads Account and select Full Control (to let us create/edit campaigns).

  3. Confirm by clicking Assign Assets.
