Rich Minded

"The path towards desire is the path of life; a man without desire is dead." Some people call desire evil, not realizing it depends entirely on how it is used. Desire, like any other force, can lead to great good or great harm. If your desire lifts you up and benefits others, it is a force for good.

Why I Wrote This Book

From a young age, I’ve been fascinated by how the mind works and how it shapes our lives. My journey began with a deep study of the Quran and Islamic teachings, and over the years, I expanded my knowledge into psychology, spirituality, and modern science.

Here’s what grounds this book:

  • Religious wisdom: 450+ readings of the Holy Quran, 50,000 hadiths, and studies of other texts like the Holy Bible.

  • Modern science: Insights from psychology, biology, and quantum physics.

  • Practical experience: I have lived the hardships I speak of and tested these principles in the fire of personal transformation.

At 31, I was 123 kg, financially broke, and in a loveless marriage. My health, finances, and personal life were in shambles. Yet, by applying the principles in this book, I turned my life around. If someone as broken as I was can do it, so can you.

Four Pillars of Truth

The teachings in The Rich Minded are backed by four undeniable truths:

  1. Religion

  2. Psychology

  3. Biology

  4. Quantum Physics

This combination ensures that the methods you learn are grounded in both faith and science, making them universally applicable.

“The Journey Within"

Chapter 1- Awareness

There Is No Blessing Greater Than Hadayat (Awareness)

There Is No Blessing Greater Than Hadayat (Awareness)

What is Hadayat?

“Attaining and applying knowledge to achieve success by avoiding failure and going astray is called Guidance, Hadayat, or Awareness.”

I believe this concept is beautifully defined in the first chapter of the Quran, Surah Fatiha, verse 7:

“Lead me on the path of those who succeeded. Save me from the ways of those who failed and the ones who have gone astray.” Ameen.

This idea is present in all major religions, where awareness and guidance are emphasized as key elements of life. In this chapter, I will explain why raising your awareness is the most important step you can take.

Many people struggle to explain how to create success because it's not a product—it's a byproduct.

“Success is a byproduct of avoiding everything that leads to failure or going astray.”

The “going astray” mentioned in the verse covers:

  • Going in the wrong direction: This means that even though you’re moving toward a goal, you’re approaching it the wrong way—whether intentionally or mistakenly, the result will be the same.

  • Not knowing where to go: This is covered in detail in the chapter on Goals. Simply put, it means lacking clear goals.

  • Procrastination: Even when you know what to do, delaying your actions leads to missed opportunities.

“A successful person is one who is living happily in the way they choose to live.”

"Success is not to be measured by the results but by the resolve."

Success Without Awareness

No matter how much money you are given, how much you love, or how good your health becomes, if you lack awareness, all of these will bring only temporary relief and happiness, followed by a period of profound distress and anguish.

Now, why do I predict such a dire end for someone who gains wealth, love, or health without awareness? Let me explain:

Wealth

Wealth gained through means like winning the lottery or inheriting money often disappears quickly because the person who receives it lacks the awareness to sustain it. If, by chance, they manage to maintain it but then lose it due to some calamity, they’ll have no idea how to regain it.

On the other hand, a person who has earned their wealth and knows their craft well, even if they lose everything, will know where to start. In a short time, they’ll regain their wealth—this time faster and better because they’ll avoid the mistakes they made in the past.

You may have heard someone say, “My grandfather owned vast farmland or herds of livestock, but my father didn’t get his share because of our malicious relatives.” The reality is that if they had developed meaningful skills of value, they wouldn’t need to cling to stories of past wealth.

As for their father, if he had the will and skill to tend to the farm, he would have gained his share. But perhaps he fell in love with city life, found a white-collar job, and, over time, realized he had traded his freedom for the slavery of a 9-to-5. Instead of admitting his mistake to his children and warning them, he blamed his failure on others. His children inherit this blame mentality and carry it to their graves.

This is one of the core reasons for poverty in nations. When many people with a "blame and lack" mentality form a society, they create a poor nation. The reverse is also true—prosperous nations are built on success-oriented mindsets. This is the project I am working on: breaking the chain of a loser mentality passed down through generations.

Lack Mentality

Lack mentality means believing that there isn’t enough for everyone. It is the opposite of an abundance mentality. People with a lack mentality focus only on what they don’t have and are ungrateful for what they do. Even when reminded of their blessings, they offer little or no genuine gratitude.

Worse still, they often say their lack is due to the Will of God, blaming God for their failures. But God gives results based on our efforts. God’s Will is for you to prosper both in life and eternity.

Love Without Awareness

Love is one of life’s most complex blessings. Those who have it are truly fortunate, but if you have love in your life and are unaware of its value, you become ungrateful for it, and, over time, you will lose it.

Similarly, if you crave love without awareness, you may enter a relationship that leads to heartbreak. (More on relationships later in the book.)

Health and Weight Loss Without Awareness

When dealing with the body, it’s important to understand that most conditions, deformities, or diseases are symptoms of psychological issues. About 90% of illnesses stem from the mind, not the external environment.

Take obesity, for example. If you don’t know why you gained weight or how to lose it naturally, any effort—whether dieting or exercise—will only bring temporary results. Without addressing the psychological cause, the weight will return, often more than before (speaking from experience). I’ll discuss this topic in more detail later in the book, but for now, understand that external efforts are futile without internal awareness.

The Largest Diamond Mine in Africa

Once, there was a farmer in Africa who lived a content and peaceful life. He had farmland, which he worked on every day. He often heard stories of people becoming wealthy by discovering diamonds in the mountains.

One day, unable to resist the temptation, he sold his land and set off on a quest for diamonds. He traveled far and wide but found no success. Exhausted, both physically and emotionally, he finally threw himself off a mountain and ended his life.

You might think this is a tragic story, but it doesn’t end there.

Back on the farm, the new owner was tilling the same soil. One day, while walking by the stream, he found an unusual-looking stone. He took it home and placed it by the fireplace.

Later, a friend from the city visited. Curious about the stone, he suggested they have it examined by a jeweler. After the examination, it was revealed to be the largest diamond ever seen. The new farmer's stream was full of these stones—the farm the previous owner sold was, in fact, the largest diamond deposit in Africa.

The Three Morals of This Story:

  1. The first farmer had been sitting on acres of diamonds but didn’t realize their value. He sold his opportunity and wasted his life searching elsewhere.

  2. The first farmer didn't study or plan before pursuing his desire, following it blindly.

  3. The second farmer, despite being uneducated about diamonds, was open to learning and acted on good advice. His willingness to learn made all the difference.

Steps Towards Awareness

Now that we understand the importance of awareness, how do we gain it?

Willingness to Change

If you don’t have something you want or have something you don’t want, it means you need to change. Change is difficult but necessary.

“Life is uncomfortable anyway, so why not let that discomfort serve you?”

If you’re broke, unhealthy, or in toxic relationships, the path you’re on is headed toward destruction.

“Taking comfort in failure to avoid struggle is a slow form of suicide.”

The only sane choice is to change.

Clear Desire

Know exactly what you want. This clarity helps you focus all your energy on your goal and recognize opportunities when they arise. It also prevents you from settling for less.

Planning

Once you know your desire, explore the possible and even impossible ways to achieve it. Plan for sustainability, considering how you’ll maintain your success in health, wealth, or relationships once you’ve achieved it.

Action

Every thought, goal, and plan remains mere wishful thinking unless you act on it to the best of your ability—even if it’s as simple as remembering your goals and visualizing them. Remembering is also a form of action, but when the opportunity presents itself, you must take decisive steps. Reviewing your goals and plans daily prepares you for that moment when action is required. Without action, all the planning and dreaming will remain just wishful thinking, as I mentioned earlier.

Determination - Persistence

You must have an unwavering commitment to your goals.Determination can only be seen in persistence. For example, during a weight loss journey, you may catch a cold and be unable to work out. But even then, you can take small steps, like walking around your room, to prove your determination to yourself and the infinite Intelligence (God) that can and will bring to you the success you desire. .

Speaking from experience, such resolve only leads to success.

“Ignorance is a crime, and its punishment is misery.”

Chapter 2: Desire

"A man without desire is dead."

"The path towards desire is the path of life, a man without desire is dead."

Some people call desire evil, not realizing it depends entirely on how it is used. Desire, like any other force, can lead to great good or great harm. If your desire lifts you up and benefits others, it is good; but if it causes harm to yourself or others, it becomes destructive.

In this chapter, we are not talking about ordinary, fleeting desires—like craving a favorite meal or longing for a dress displayed in a shop window. Here, we discuss that one defining desire, the one that feels like it has always been part of you. This is the desire that shapes your purpose and drives your very being. It’s a force so powerful that it seems etched into your soul since the moment you became aware of yourself.

So where does this deep desire come from?

The Holy Quran says:
"You cannot desire anything that God does not desire for you." (Surah At-Takwir, 81:29)

This tells us that a pure and good desire is a gift from Allah, placed in the heart (the Ego) of every human being. It exists for a reason—it is meant to be fulfilled. Ignoring this desire will leave you restless, with a constant feeling of something missing in your life.

Since the beginning of time, people have wondered: What is my purpose on Earth? The answer is simple: your passion is your purpose. Your passion is fueled by this core desire, and the person who learns how to harness it will find success, even in the face of challenges.

Even those who deny worldly desires in the name of religion are following a desire of their own. They choose spiritual rewards over physical pleasures. Take fasting as an example: you give up food and water not because you don’t want them, but because you value the blessings of Allah more. So even self-denial is a matter of choosing one desire over another.

But remember, this chapter is not about surface-level wants or passing urges. It is about the one deep, all-consuming desire that lies at the core of who you are—the force that drives your decisions, fuels your energy, and gives you the strength to rise above obstacles.

When you recognize this desire and understand its purpose, your path becomes clearer. It becomes your guide in setting meaningful goals, pushing you to persevere through hardships until you achieve what you were meant to achieve.

And if you are wondering, every human being is born with a desire that is inherently good. This desire may get clouded or misdirected over time because of misunderstandings or distractions, but its essence is always pure. No one is evil by design. Even what we call "evil" often exists by justifying itself as some kind of greater good. Understanding this truth helps you see past illusions and stay connected to the goodness within your own desires.

Components of Life

Life, in its essence, is composed of four key components:

  • Love

  • Wealth

  • Health

  • Belief

It is naive to claim that one is more important than the other. When even one of these components is lacking, it disrupts the harmony of your existence, causing suffering and imbalance.

Before we dive deeper, let me clarify an important truth: not all human beings desire the same things. While it may seem that everyone wants love, wealth, health, and belief, the extent of our effort reveals what we truly value. For example, one person may prioritize love above all else, while another may place wealth at the forefront. Recognizing and defining these priorities is essential, as it creates a blueprint for your subconscious mind to follow.

In reality, a human being fully committed to their life’s purpose cannot remain "normal." Being normal implies conforming to societal expectations, sacrificing your individuality. This individuality, famously called Khudi by the 19th-century poet Allama Iqbal, is the core of a person’s identity. Earl Nightingale echoed this idea in The Strangest Secret, where he noted that most people conform, becoming part of the 95% who fail to reach their full potential.

Let us now examine the main categories and subcategories of desires. Understanding them will allow you to craft meaningful goals and pursue the life you truly desire.

It’s vital to remember this: once you identify the main category of your desire, some of its subcategories may naturally align with your path, bringing additional fulfillment. However, other desires or comforts may need to be set aside. This trade-off is part of the journey.

"In life, you cannot have everything, but you can have whatever matters most by sacrificing what matters less to you."

Love

"Love is the natural urge for expression, appreciation, and procreation."

Love is the most powerful emotion, so profound that it is also one of the names of God. Throughout history, the founders of religions have been celebrated as the most beloved individuals of God. They performed miracles, endured immense trials, and achieved the seemingly impossible—all in the name of Love. But what exactly is love?

The word "love" is often tossed around carelessly, treated as if it were just another word in our everyday vocabulary. But in truth, love is one of the holiest words in any language, carrying a divine weight. True love implies a profound union of mind and body in unwavering devotion to someone who reciprocates with the same or even greater depth of commitment.

What we frequently call "love" today has been distorted and diluted. A more fitting modern term for it would be a crush.

Love and Crush

A crush is characterized by obsession—an irrational fixation on someone without a meaningful foundation or reason. It is fleeting, shallow, and often fueled by infatuation or physical attraction.

In contrast, true love comes with purpose, depth, and reason. It is not one-sided or unbalanced. The most vital aspect of love is reciprocity—the act of receiving love in return for the love you give. True love thrives on mutual understanding, respect, and appreciation, creating a cycle that grows stronger with time.

To call a fleeting obsession love is to undermine its sanctity. Love is not just a feeling; it is an intentional act, a sacred bond that deserves honor and respect.

Types of Love

  1. Love of People

  2. One True Love

  3. Divine Love

  4. One Sided Love

Love of People

The desire to be loved by family, friends, or an entire community—even the world—falls under this category. While it may manifest as a yearning for fame or honor, the ultimate goal is the same: to feel loved.

Here’s a guiding principle for those seeking this kind of love:
To be loved, you must strive to benefit others to the best of your ability and capacity. People naturally gravitate toward those who add value to their lives.

However, it’s important to remember that not everyone will love you, and that’s okay. If this desire is truly heartfelt and you work diligently toward it, you can achieve it—at least to the extent that it fulfills your heart. Desires often mimic an amplified hunger or thirst, much like the heightened cravings during a fast. Once the essential need is met, you will feel a deep satisfaction.

Have faith. What you need will come to you.

One True Love

Love is an expression that seeks appreciation in return.
When you genuinely love someone, you are compelled to express it. In return, you expect their appreciation, which is expressed through their actions and emotions. This mutual exchange of love creates a cycle—like a trade—that grows richer and more rewarding with every interaction.

If this exchange is not enriching for both parties, it is not True Love.

True Love is effortless in its arrival but profound in its impact. It doesn’t require struggle to manifest because it comes naturally to those who have worked hard to become the best version of themselves. It is the reward for inner growth and self-improvement.

True Love finds those who are prepared for it.

Divine Love

Rare and often misunderstood, Divine Love is the purest form of love, for God is the ultimate source of all love. Every act of love—be it from a mother, a friend, or a stranger—is but a reflection of the love God channels through them for you. When one seeks to love God directly, they begin to detach from material concerns, even their own life. Such a calling is rare and comes with immense trials, for the path of Divine Love requires the endurance of a heart that can bear the weight of heavenly devotion.

Often, people turn to Divine Love after experiencing heartbreak, searching for solace and purpose. Others may pursue this love without first tasting its reflection in earthly forms. These individuals may find themselves consumed by pain, lost in their search for meaning. Some eventually discover their true purpose and move forward, while others remain on the path, risking self-destruction in their pursuit.

It is essential to remember that God’s love is merciful and nurturing. Whatever type of love you seek—whether human or divine—it should inspire growth, joy, and a desire to live fully. Love that leads to despair, self-harm, or hopelessness is not from a merciful Creator; it is a distorted form of love, far from the true essence of Divine Love.

God’s love is meant to uplift, to be a source of strength and purpose, not a cause for harm. Seek the love that allows you to thrive, for that is the love God intends for you.

One-Sided Love

One-sided love occurs when you express your love to someone who does not appreciate or reciprocate it. Essentially, it is like trying to sell a product to a customer who either doesn’t need it or doesn’t want it from you. Even if you leave your "product" at their doorstep without expecting anything in return, it will hold no real value to them. At best, they might take pity on you and offer a token of appreciation—a charitable gesture born out of kindness rather than genuine interest in what you’re offering.

However, love is not charity; it is an ongoing trade. In one-sided love, this trade is doomed from the start. Even the charity of appreciation can dwindle over time, as their heart may not have enough capacity to continue paying with the currency of kindness. Ultimately, the "trade" collapses, leaving you with heartache and regret.

The Danger of Manipulative Relationships

When faced with good and honest people, they might refuse your "product" outright, ending the trade quickly and sparing you prolonged pain. But when you encounter manipulative individuals, the consequences can be far more damaging.

Manipulative people often see the value in what you offer, not for love, but for their personal gain. If you are wealthy, caring, attractive, or all of these, they might exploit your resources—be it your money, your time, your services, or even your body. In return, they may offer what seems like love, but deep down, you know it is fake.

Despite recognizing this falseness, you might remain in the relationship because you feel too invested or too trapped to leave. These relationships are the most damaging, as love, when pure, promotes life, but when twisted or misused, has the power to harm and even destroy one’s will to live.

Understanding Manipulative Behavior

It’s natural to feel anger or resentment towards manipulative people when you realize how they’ve used you. But before hatred takes root, consider this: most manipulative individuals are not consciously aware of their actions. Their behavior often stems from their upbringing, societal conditioning, or emotional wounds, which they may not have the tools or awareness to confront.

While this doesn’t excuse their actions, it highlights the importance of recognizing that many do not set out with the intention to harm. They act out of their own unconscious patterns and beliefs. Knowing this can help you step out of the cycle of pain and resentment. Instead of holding onto bitterness, choose forgiveness—not for their sake, but for your own healing.

Remember, forgiveness does not mean returning to the manipulative relationship or tolerating harmful behavior. It means releasing the hold their actions have on your heart and moving forward with wisdom and strength.

Reason for One-Sided Love

The most common cause of one-sided love is conformity. Heartbreaks have become so prevalent in our surroundings that they almost seem like a rite of passage. Falling for someone unattainable, chasing this unreachable goal, and then portraying yourself as the tragic, heartbroken figure—this has been romanticized to the point of normalcy. Media, especially in regions like India and Pakistan, often glamorizes such tragic love stories in soap operas and films, exposing even young, impressionable minds to unrealistic and damaging ideals of love.

However, a deeper reason for one-sided love lies in what I call the vision of the beloved.

The Vision of the Beloved

Have you ever truly been in love?
Have you witnessed someone deeply in love?
Have you heard phrases like, “It feels like I’ve known them forever”?

People in love often seem so sure of their connection to the person they adore. This certainty stems from their vision of the beloved—an idealized soul or persona so complete that it fills all emotional and spiritual voids. All this vision needs is a body to inhabit.

Here lies the dilemma. Finding a person who naturally embodies this vision or believing that anyone can become your beloved are two vastly different approaches. Unfortunately, the latter is a widely accepted notion despite having a nearly 100% failure rate.

Why It Fails

When we attach this vision to a person based solely on physical attraction, we subconsciously expect them to mold themselves into our ideal. However, the person we choose also has their own spirit, personality, and vision, which rarely align perfectly with ours.

If their personality is dominant, they reject our advances, leading to heartbreak. On the other hand, if they have a submissive nature, they may conform to our expectations temporarily—often driven by physical or social needs. Eventually, their true self emerges, clashing with our vision, and we’re left wondering:
"What happened? They seemed so perfect."

This dissonance arises because they were unintentionally playing along, much like when someone responds with, “I’m fine,” to a casual inquiry but is, in reality, struggling deeply. People learn default reactions to social expectations, and these superficial responses can mislead us into believing we’ve found our ideal match.

The Role of Hidden Expectations

A significant contributor to breakups and divorces worldwide—nearly 80%—is the weight of hidden expectations rooted in our vision of the beloved. When our partner fails to meet these unspoken demands, we feel betrayed, even though they were unaware of these expectations from the start.

The Question of Faith

So why do we put ourselves through this? Why gamble with our hearts? The answer lies in a lack of faith. Deep down, we doubt that someone truly exists who matches the personality we’ve envisioned.

But is such a person real? Is the idea of a soulmate more than just a romantic fantasy?

Ralph Waldo Emerson offers a perspective that resonates deeply:
"There’s nothing capricious in nature, and the implanting of a desire indicates that its gratification is in the constitution of the creature that feels it."

This means that your vision of love, this deeply rooted desire, is not accidental. It exists because the fulfillment of that desire is possible—if you trust in its divine origin and timing.

Soul Mates

The concept of soulmates is mentioned clearly in the Holy Quran, the Bible, and Sahih Hadith, but it’s not something compulsory to believe in. I just mentioned the biggest and most credible books as a reference for the belief I am about to share.

The soul is energy, and whenever energy is converted into matter, it always comes in pairs. Why does this happen? No one can explain, but that’s just how it is. Here are some references from the great books I have mentioned:

The Quran:

"They are my veil for you, and you are my veil for them." [2:187]
"O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women." (Al-Nisa, 4:1)
"It is He who created you from one soul and created from it its mate that he might dwell in security with her." (Al-Araf, 7:189)
"And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought." [30:21]
"And Allah created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop; then He made you mates." (Fatir, 35:11)
"Exalted is He who created all pairs—from what the earth grows and from themselves and from that which they do not know." [36:36]
"And in all things We created two mates so they communicate." (Al-Dhariyat, 51:49)

The Bible:
"So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam, there was not found a helper comparable to him. And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. And Adam said: 'This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman because she was taken out of Man.' Therefore, a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh." (Genesis 2:20-24 NKJV)

Sayings of the Prophet Muhammad ï·º:
"Souls are like recruited troops: those who are like qualities are inclined to each other, but those who have dissimilar qualities differ." (Sahih al-Bukhari, 3336)
"Treat women nicely, for a woman is created from a man’s rib." (Sahih al-Bukhari, 3331)

Some might argue that this concept is only about males and females and does not necessarily mean these males and females are related. That’s fine. This part is for whoever wants to believe, and no argument is needed.

The Connection of Soulmates

Now let’s dive into this matter of soulmates and how it affects your life. If your deepest desire is to be loved by someone, then, according to the concept of soulmates, this is exactly her deepest desire too. Sharing the same soul means that spiritually, she is always with you, and you are always with her. A part of this one soul is in your body, and the other part is in hers.

The image you carry in your mind of a perfect mate is actually the expression of your soul in another body, with another ego. She is being brought up as the opposite gender, facing the challenges of life, learning, adapting, and becoming another person who holds a part of your soul. That person is a copy of you, but no one knows exactly except the God who created both of you.

So, if you have this perfect vision in your mind, don’t waste time trying to convert someone into him or her. She cannot be copied. Even if you made a robot or AI exactly like her, you wouldn’t be satisfied because you’d feel her soul missing.

Another reason why trying to change someone won’t work is that you are part of one soul. Even if you manage to convert someone into your soulmate’s likeness, the other part of your soul will not be satisfied. Deep inside, you’ll feel miserable, not to mention the pressure this imposes on the poor person you’re trying to change.

This is the root of many miserable marriages and relationships—forcing someone to be someone they’re not is oppression. Neither party can be happy in such a situation.

We are who we are, and we are not who we are not. Accept this as a fact today, at this very moment, or regret it every moment of your life. The choice is yours.

How to Find Your Soulmate

Since you are already acquainted with yourself, you should know that your soulmate is much like you, just born in a different body and living a different life. Start by asking yourself:

  • How am I?

  • Do I like myself?

  • Do I love what I think?

  • Do I love what I do and how I do it?

  • Would I like to spend an eternity with a copy of myself?

You might wonder what this has to do with attracting your soulmate. The answer lies in the law of attraction.

Like attracts like. If you love yourself as much as you want to be loved, then the physical manifestation of someone who would love you will come into your life. Since you’re loving yourself, the other end of your soul will be doing the same. This will bring you both onto the same frequency, and your material bodies will begin moving toward each other. Circumstances, resources, and everything else required for your meeting will fall into place perfectly.

I plan to write a whole book on this subject, God willing, but this is all I’ll say about soulmates for now. More will be explained in later chapters, where I’ll share how meditation and other methods can help you attract your soulmate.

All I’ll say is that the person born with the innate desire for true love above everything else has been blessed with a great destiny.

Wealth

“Wealth is your material possession for attaining and sustaining material life’s well-being.”

Attaining wealth is likely the primary reason many readers are drawn to this book. It is the most common conscious desire among people because it involves material riches, which are not universally possessed. While love and health are innate blessings available from birth, wealth is not as common. People often go to extreme lengths, even killing, for money.

Love of Money and Its Misuse vs. Money as a Tool for Good

The Prophet Muhammad ï·º said:
"I do not fear that you will worship any god but one God, but I do fear you will cut each other’s necks for money."
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 2, Book 23, Number 428)

The Quran says:
"In the competition for wealth, you have spent your life until you reached your grave."
(Surah At-Takathur, 102:1-2)

The Bible also warns:
"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
(1 Timothy 6:10-12)

After reading these profound insights, you might wonder: Does desiring wealth make me evil? The answer is no. Nothing in nature is inherently good or evil—everything depends on its use. Wealth is like fire: you can use it to cook a meal or burn down a house. Similarly, money can be used to improve your life and help others, or it can be wielded selfishly to harm and overpower.

These teachings from the Quran, the Bible, and the sayings of Prophet Muhammad ï·º emphasize one central idea: it is the love of money above all else that leads to evil. When money becomes the object of obsession, it causes greed and destruction. However, if wealth is seen as a means to serve higher purposes, it can bring great blessings.

A Deeper Understanding

Consider these further teachings:

The Bible:
"The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is the slave of the lender."
(Proverbs 22:7)

The Quran:
"True righteousness is not merely believing in Allah but also involves giving wealth to relatives, orphans, the needy, travelers, and those who ask for help. It’s about establishing prayer, giving zakah, fulfilling promises, and being patient during hardship."
(Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:177)

The Prophet Muhammad ï·º:
"No man earns anything better than that which he earns with his own hands, and what a man spends on himself, his wife, his child, and his servant, believing it is a blessing from Allah, counts as charity."
(Sunan Ibn Majah, 2138)

This raises an important question: Why didn’t God directly order us to earn money or suggest that being poor is a virtue? The answer lies in understanding human nature. Just as God didn’t need to command us to drink water or eat food, the desire for wealth and the effort to earn it come naturally to human beings. It doesn’t require explicit instruction.

Furthermore, consider the examples of wealthy prophets and righteous individuals who were able to give immense amounts in charity—equivalent to billions in today’s currency. If they were poor, they wouldn’t have been able to achieve such generosity and make a meaningful impact.

The Verdict on Wealth

Earning money and becoming wealthy is not inherently evil; in fact, it can be a force for good if used to benefit oneself and others. On the other hand, hoarding wealth or using it to harm others is undoubtedly evil.

To restate: wealth, when managed with intention and purpose, is a powerful tool for sustaining life, uplifting others, and fulfilling righteous goals. It is not the pursuit of wealth itself but the love of wealth above all else that must be avoided.

Money Psychology

Many people remain broke—or find themselves going broke—because their understanding of money is built on false beliefs. These misconceptions create mental barriers that unknowingly repel the very opportunities capable of bringing wealth into their lives.

But what are these damaging misconceptions that keep us trapped in financial struggle? And, more importantly, what are the money-friendly beliefs we must embrace to unlock our potential for wealth?

We will now in detail address these questions, uncovering the false narratives that hold us back and replace them with empowering principles that pave the way to financial success.

Money Is Evil

Money itself is not evil; it’s the love of money that can lead people to commit evil acts. The key difference lies in how we perceive and use money. If you see money as a tool and not an object of worship, you’re on the right path.

Whatever you love the most becomes the master you serve. If you love money above all else, it takes the place of God in your life. Love is the most powerful force, and when directed toward money, it can create an insatiable hunger, a craving so strong that people may resort to unethical means to satisfy it. That’s why the love of money—not money itself—is considered evil.

God Himself says He owns all wealth. If money were inherently evil, what would that imply about God? Such misconceptions are not only baseless but also dangerous, and they must be discarded before embarking on a journey to build wealth.

The Spiritual Conflict

If you believe money is evil, you create an internal conflict. On one hand, you pray to God to protect you from evil, and on the other, you pray for financial blessings. These contradictory beliefs cause your prayers—and your intentions—to clash.

This conflict doesn’t just stop at prayer; it affects your mind as well. If you view money as harmful, your subconscious mind works to protect you from it. This can manifest as difficulty concentrating on work or business, procrastination, or even self-sabotage. Your mind sees the pursuit of money as sinful and tries to stop you.

The truth is, money is neutral. It’s a tool that can be used for good or evil depending on the person wielding it. Money can build hospitals, feed the hungry, and support countless good causes. Or it can be misused to cause harm.

So, let go of the notion that money is evil. Instead, see it for what it truly is: a resource, a tool, and a means to fulfill your purpose and serve others.

Rich People are Evil

Where did this idea come from? Where is it written that rich people are inherently evil? In reality, rich people play a vital role in society. They create jobs, invest in businesses, and buy products that keep economies alive. If no one were rich, there would be no buyers, no sellers, and no employment.

Take a moment to consider this: visit a poor neighborhood and ask a local grocery vendor how many people they employ. The answer will likely be zero. Now try selling a product door to door in that same area. How many sales will you make? Again, probably zero. Why? Because poverty limits purchasing power, and without buyers, businesses fail.

God, in the Quran, tells us that He created both the rich and the poor, and that they serve one another to sustain society and the economy. If God Himself created the rich, who are we to call them evil?

The Contributions of the Wealthy

Throughout history, some of the greatest contributions to humanity—whether through innovation, philanthropy, or charity—have come from the rich. Wealth has built schools, hospitals, and shelters, and funded research that saves lives. It is not wealth itself that determines a person’s morality, but how it is used.

Addressing Misconceptions

Some people claim that the luxurious lifestyles of the rich will cost them their share in the Hereafter. But let’s be clear: their wealth, their deeds, and their Hereafter are between them and God. What will happen to you in the Hereafter is your responsibility, not theirs.

And let’s dig deeper: is your disdain for the rich truly about morality, or does it reveal something else? Often, such prejudice stems from envy. Deep down, you may wish you had their money and lifestyle. But doesn’t that desire make you the one with questionable intentions?

The Truth About Wealth

Rich people are not inherently evil. What determines good or evil is how they use their wealth. Money, like any tool, can be wielded for great good or immense harm. The choice lies with the individual.

So instead of condemning the rich, focus on your own path. Learn from their successes, appreciate their contributions, and strive to build a life that reflects your values.

You Can Only Get Rich by Illegal Means

I will say it again—where did this concept come from? Many people claim that their forefathers were rich or even kings. Who did they defraud or kill to get their money? Replace this flawed belief with a better one: “Anyone can get rich by providing services or products that are in demand.” If others have done this and become wealthy, then so can you by following their footsteps.

People can also inherit money or win the lottery, and these things could happen to you as well.

Some might argue, “Have you not seen that news report about this person or that person and how they became rich?” My response is: Can you not see how the news industry thrives on such stories? They play on people’s sentiments against the wealthy and their desperation to find someone to blame for their own failures. These reports often have little to do with reality, and many are proven false in courts of law. Even if some are true, ask yourself:

  • What good is this information doing for you?

Then, ask yourself again: Among all the rich people you accuse of doing something illegal, is it not possible that some of them might be earning money legally?

Why aren’t you trying to become rich by becoming more productive in your job or business? Why aren’t you learning more about your work? Why aren’t you improving the quality of your product or service? The answer is simple: You are too busy blaming others, watching others blame others, or wasting your time consuming information that will not earn you a single penny.

The most disturbing thing I’ve noticed about people who hold prejudice against the rich is that they have never been deceived or defrauded by a rich person. They haven’t seen a rich person commit a crime. The only thing they hold against the rich is hearsay. What we hear and what we believe in is often nothing but slander.

In his last address, the Prophet Muhammad ï·º said: “Hold each other’s honor as dear as you hold this Ka’bah.” Is that what we are doing by considering the rich as criminals?

The Quran says: “O you who believe, if a wicked person comes to you with news, verify it, lest you harm people in ignorance and afterward regret what you have done.” (Surah Al-Hujurat, 49:6)
Is this what we are doing? Is this what the media does?

This slander is clear, and its consequences are severe: poverty in this life and punishment in the hereafter.

I could go on with all the Quranic verses, Hadiths, and Bible references I know, but that would turn this into a religious sermon. I hope the message is clear: Your belief about the rich is not based on any solid ground, and it is not serving you.

Rich people will have to answer God for the money they make

Yes, it's true that they will be asked about the blessings they have been given. But let me ask you this—does that mean you won’t be asked about the blessings you’ve received?

Perhaps you weren’t blessed with wealth or, as it may be more fitting to say, you were “tested” with a lack of wealth. But were you not given other blessings? Health, relationships, opportunities—how well are you prepared to answer for those?

In the Quran, it is mentioned that when the angel of death comes to some people, they will say, “We were poverty-stricken and oppressed.” And the angels will reply, “Was not the earth of your Lord vast enough for you to seek fortune?” These people will then be punished for not making an effort to improve their circumstances.

So yes, the rich will answer for their blessings, and the poor will answer for theirs.

You should only share your misfortunes about money with people, otherwise they might get jealous and cause you harm.

My first question is: why are you talking to such people at all? If you know there are individuals who are envious of your success, then you should avoid discussing your fortunes or misfortunes with them altogether.

In the Quran, Prophet Ya’qoob (A.S.) warned his son, Yusuf (A.S.), not to share his dream with his brothers because they were envious of him. So, when you determine that someone is not in your favor, avoid sharing your personal matters with them, whether they are about success or hardship. Jealous people are clearly your enemies, and telling them about your misfortunes will only give them pleasure.

Instead, share your success with those who are true to you, and share your losses with those who can help you. Talking about your losses can attract more losses, as per the law of attraction, while speaking of success brings more success.

Mentioning the blessings of God is an expression of gratitude, while dwelling on losses is a form of ingratitude.

God has said in the Holy Quran to turn to prayer and patience in times of difficulties and suffering. But on the other hand God has instructed to mention blessings of God “And keep mentioning the blessings of your God” (93:11)

Why earn so much money when we all have to die in the end?

Yes, we all die in the end, but what truly matters is how we live and in what conditions we live. It’s about the impact we make on ourselves, our families, our friends, neighbors, communities, nations, and the world. This is why we should strive to improve our lives and the lives of those around us.

Interestingly, this question is often posed by people who can hardly make ends meet or are struggling financially. They tend to say these things when they see others striving, or they say it to justify their own laziness.

On the other hand, rich people, before they go broke, sometimes start pondering this devilish question. I call it devilish because, as a rich person, you have a responsibility to distribute what has been given to you, to help others. Wealth isn’t just about accumulating money; it’s about using the blessings and skills you’ve been given to make a positive impact. If you use these gifts properly, you might find yourself receiving what you truly desire—things that money cannot buy, like good health or true love.

This is because when you use the positive power you’ve been given in the best way possible, by sharing and giving, you attract the very things that align with your true passion.

There is righteousness in poverty.

The idea that all good people in history were poor is one of the most misleading and false concepts. This suggests that great figures, such as the prophets, were poor. However, both the Holy Bible and the Quran speak of the wealthiest people in history, and the truth is, they were the prophets. They lived humbly, but they were, in fact, very rich. Money came easily to them, yet they chose to give it away repeatedly to gain the love and blessings of God.

How can I say the prophets were rich, you ask? Let me explain. Prophet Solomon (a.s.) was a king with a kingdom greater than anyone else. His father, David (a.s.), was also a king. Prophet Abraham (a.s.) had herds of cattle. Jesus (a.s.) could bring the dead back to life, and when he had to pay his taxes, gold came from a fish's mouth, caught by a disciple. His mother, Mary (a.s.), used to have fresh food delivered by angels in her prayer room. Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w.) had control over the largest and richest cities in Arabia, and before declaring prophethood, he was a wealthy merchant. Many of his disciples were also wealthy, such as Abu Bakr (r.a.), Umar (r.a.), and Uthman (r.a.).

I could go on and on about the rich prophets, but it's not just the prophets—there are other saints mentioned in the Holy Quran and the Bible as well. To say that there is righteousness in poverty is wrong, if not blasphemous.

Poverty leads to crime, while riches lead to charity. These excuses are used by those defending their laziness and stupidity, as well as by religious figures who live lavishly on the charity they receive from both the poor and the rich, after delivering sermons that portray money as evil and poverty as righteous.

Reasons for Desiring Wealth

Now that the question of whether wealth is evil or good has been addressed, we can focus on recognizing the reasons behind this desire.

To keep pursuing anything in life, you need strong enough reasons to do what you do. It’s fascinating how the mind can easily find a hundred excuses to avoid doing something it dislikes but struggles to find enough reasons to act on what it loves. That imbalance isn’t right, is it? This is precisely what I aim to address in this part of the book.

This concept isn’t limited to financial goals alone; it applies to any area of life. Whether it’s improving your health, nurturing relationships, or achieving personal milestones, having good enough reasons is the foundation for staying committed to your plans and ultimately achieving your goals.

Finding Reasons

To truly understand your desire for financial independence and uncover the reasons behind your current financial state, ask yourself the following questions. These reflections will not only reveal your motivations but also provide the strength and clarity needed to pursue your goals with determination.

Is It My Desire?

(I Desire Money – But I Need It for Someone Else)

Many people desire wealth, not for themselves, but for their loved ones—parents, spouses, or children—so they can provide them with a better life. While this intention is noble, it’s vital to align with your core desire. The wealth you seek will only manifest when you focus on your authentic goals and aspirations.

Each individual has their own law of attraction and destiny to fulfill. If your loved ones are destined for financial comfort, they must also contribute in their own way—be it through positive actions, affirmations, prayers, or simply living a life of gratitude and effort.

As the Quran states: “No one can benefit another unless that benefit comes from God.” While you may act as a channel of provision, remember that Allah is the ultimate source of all blessings. Trust in this divine flow and focus on your desires, knowing that everything will align according to His perfect plan.

Do I Love the Money or the Things That Come From It?

(I Love the Things – I Love the Money)

To understand whether you love money itself or the things it can provide, reflect on your past experiences. When you desired something deeply and had the money to buy it, did you choose to save the money instead? Did the act of saving bring you more joy than the object of your desire? If so, you may be a money lover. If, however, you saved for something more meaningful than what you initially wanted, you likely value the things more than the money.

Law of Attraction for Both Types of People

The Law of Attraction operates differently based on whether you are a money lover or a money user. Understanding these characteristics will help you harness its power effectively.

Money Lovers

Characteristics:

  • Fear-Based Mindset:
Money lovers often save out of fear of "hard days" or financial insecurity. This fear creates a scarcity mindset, which ironically attracts the very struggles they wish to avoid.

  • Hoarding Mentality:
They prioritize saving money over enjoying life or investing wisely. This includes buying items that might appreciate in value but do not generate income in the present.

  • Self-Denial and Withholding:
They may deny themselves and their loved ones basic pleasures, focusing solely on preserving money. Charity is often neglected, further blocking blessings.

  • Unsatisfied and Ungrateful:
No matter how much they earn or save, they remain unfulfilled and crave more.

Impact of the Law of Attraction:

The Law of Attraction amplifies what you focus on. If you focus on fear, lack, or scarcity, you will attract more of the same. For money lovers, this means:

  • Attracting Financial Struggles:
Fear of losing money manifests situations where money is lost or withheld.

  • Missed Opportunities:
Their reluctance to invest or take calculated risks keeps them stuck in a cycle of stagnation.

  • Emotional and Spiritual Blockages:
The lack of gratitude and generosity creates a spiritual void, repelling blessings and abundance.

Advice for Money Lovers:

  • Shift your focus from scarcity to abundance.

  • Practice gratitude for what you have and trust in the divine flow of provision.

  • Give to charity and enjoy life within your means—this will open the door for more blessings.

Money Users

Characteristics:

  • Abundance Mindset:
Money users see money as a tool to achieve their goals and fulfill their desires. They believe in the flow of abundance and are not afraid to spend on necessities or invest in opportunities.

  • Confidence in Investing:
They are willing to take calculated risks and trust their research when making financial decisions.

  • Generosity:
Money users give freely to charity, knowing that giving is a way to attract more blessings.

  • Focus on Creation:
Instead of obsessing over expenses, they focus on increasing their income through creativity, innovation, and hard work.

Impact of the Law of Attraction:

For money users, the Law of Attraction works in their favor because they operate from a place of trust, abundance, and positivity. This results in:

  • Attracting Opportunities:
Their positive energy draws lucrative opportunities and partnerships.

  • Financial Growth:
By investing and keeping money in circulation, they create a flow of wealth that grows over time.

  • Spiritual and Emotional Fulfillment:
Their gratitude and generosity attract both material and spiritual blessings.

Advice for Money Users:

  • Continue to focus on your goals and trust the process.

  • Be mindful of balancing spending with saving and investing.

  • Use your wealth to positively impact others, as this will amplify your own success.

Intentions Behind The Desire For Wealth

There are countless intentions for desiring wealth, but they generally fall into five main categories:

  1. To Become Financially Independent
This is understandable—being self-reliant instead of a beggar or a burden on society. Financial independence allows you to contribute rather than depend on others.

  2. To Give in Charity
A noble reason, showing a highly pious and generous spirit. Such individuals aspire to use their wealth for the benefit of others, fulfilling a divine purpose.

  3. To Gain Power and Influence
Money equates to power, which can be used for both good and evil. The intention here defines whether this pursuit is virtuous or selfish.

  4. For the Love of Luxury
This is a wasteful motive. People with this desire spend excessively on luxurious attire, accessories, and other unnecessary things to feel good about themselves, often seeking validation through material possessions.

  5. For the Love of Money Itself
This is madness. Misers who hoard wealth live miserably and often die tragically, leaving behind everything they ever cared for, only to find no fulfillment in life.

After clearly defining your desire for wealth and the intentions behind it, you can uncover several reasons why this desire needs to be fulfilled.

For example:
If your desire is to become financially independent, ask yourself why this independence matters so much. Perhaps it’s because you want to:

  • Be your own boss.

  • Pay all your bills without borrowing.

  • Provide yourself, your spouse, and your children with the good things that money can buy.

Among these reasons, one will stand out above all others. Write them down so you can revisit them when faced with difficulties.

The Importance of Aligning Desires

Remember, only the first three types of desires—financial independence, charity, and power with purpose—can align with divine intentions (or the Maker’s plan, as you may call it).

The last two—love of luxury and love of money—are disorders. Recognizing these as distractions allows you to bring your desires back into alignment with a higher purpose.

Health

Health, as a desire, often remains unnoticed until it's compromised. However, many of the desires tied to our bodies are deeply connected to the pursuit of health, whether consciously or subconsciously.

Here are the desires that fall under the umbrella of health:

  • Desire for Food

  • Desire for Sex

  • Bodybuilding

  • Athletics

  • More Life

The question arises: What determines your ultimate desire? The answer lies in this truth: Your ultimate desire is that one thing you want above all else.

For some, it may be the accumulation of wealth. For others, it could be the love and affection of a significant other. When it comes to health, desires manifest in various ways:

  • A yearning to eat without consequences, enjoying every flavor life has to offer.

  • The drive to fulfill one's sexual needs and experience intimacy.

  • The ambition to feel strong, look good, and build a powerful physique through bodybuilding.

  • The aspiration to excel in athletics, pushing physical limits and achieving feats beyond the reach of most people.

  • The hope for longevity—a desire to live longer and experience more of what life has to offer.

Each of these desires is valid in its own way, shaped by the individual's priorities and circumstances. Understanding these desires can help us align our efforts with what truly matters to us and create a balanced, fulfilling life.

Belief and Faith

Belief is simply another word for perception—how we view and understand the world around us. It isn’t limited to religion but encompasses everything we haven’t directly experienced, yet hold to be true in a certain way. Faith, on the other hand, is a more developed and solidified set of beliefs—a preconception formed over time.

Beliefs are constantly being shaped, whether we are conscious of it or not. Even if you claim not to believe in anything, beliefs are still formed from your environment, the media, educational institutions, and the books you read. In short, every time you gain knowledge, you’re developing a belief. Once a belief becomes well-established and begins to merge with other beliefs, it forms faith.

A clear example of this is religious faith, such as in Islam:

  1. You believe in God.

  2. You believe that He has no equal.

  3. You believe that Muhammad ï·º is His prophet.

These three core beliefs join together to form the foundation of Islamic faith. But the depth of this faith extends further—embracing everything that God has revealed in the Holy Quran. These 3 core beliefs provide the structure, while the full scope of faith deepens with the understanding and acceptance of all that God has decreed.

Knowledge

Now that we understand how knowledge—whether acquired through learning, experience, or observation of our environment—shapes our beliefs, we can grasp the profound sense of control it offers over ourselves. By consciously choosing the knowledge we seek, we gain the ability to influence the beliefs we develop.

This is why knowledge is often called power—because it enables individuals to achieve what once seemed unimaginable. By deliberately pursuing knowledge that benefits us and avoiding that which fosters harmful or limiting beliefs, we can actively shape our thinking. This process allows us to cultivate beliefs that serve us, effectively reprogramming our subconscious mind to align with our desires—or even surpass our initial aspirations.

As Napoleon Hill wisely stated:

“Knowledge is only potential power. It becomes power only when, and if, it is organized into definite plans of action, and directed to a definite end.”

In essence, knowledge only becomes powerful when it is useful, actionable, and purposeful. Otherwise, it remains mere information. If all knowledge inherently carried power, then the wealthiest and most influential people in the world would be university professors and scholars. While they possess vast knowledge, they often limit themselves to teaching it rather than applying it to create tangible outcomes.

This distinction between knowledge and applied knowledge is crucial—it is not merely what you know, but how you use what you know that determines your success and impact.

Belief Can Become Everything

When health, love, or wealth are lacking, belief comes into play to fill the void until we can use what we have to create a time of abundance. For example, you might have money and health, but struggle to find a good life partner or feel stuck in a toxic relationship. In this situation, you have two emotional choices:

  1. Feel sorry for yourself and let your wealth and health slip away.

  2. Maintain and improve what is going well in your life, while also learning about the area you wish to improve, keeping a strong belief that the right person will appear when you are ready to receive that blessing.

Both the Quran and the Bible clearly state that "God gives more to those who are thankful and takes away from the ungrateful."

In the Quran, it is mentioned:
"If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe." (Quran 14:7)

Similarly, the Bible says:
"For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them." (Matthew 25:29)

This emphasizes that the more you cherish what God has given you, the more blessings you attract into your life.

When belief becomes faith, it can be so powerful that even if you lack all three components of life—health, wealth, and love—faith can still give you the strength to move forward, with the expectation of a better tomorrow. History is filled with examples of people who have succeeded against incredible odds. The greatest example is the life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ï·º. You cannot imagine the difficulties He faced. If you are interested in learning more, I recommend reading "Ar Raheeq Al Makhtum," one of His most renowned biographies.

Hope vs Belief

As we've discussed, belief is rooted in knowledge—when you believe something is going to happen, it’s because you have a foundation of understanding or evidence that makes you expect it to happen. Belief carries certainty. On the other hand, hope is more of a guess, with an underlying sense of doubt. If you hope for something, you are unsure whether it will happen or not. In essence, hope often comes with doubt, whereas belief is filled with expectation.

If you truly want to succeed in life and desire something deeply, the path forward is to gain knowledge about it and nurture your belief. As you strengthen this belief with more supportive thoughts and knowledge, it evolves into faith—a powerful force that can lead you to what you desire.

Why is it important to prioritize belief over hope? Hope tends to lack strong emotions, leading to a weaker vibration and less impact. Belief, however, generates powerful feelings of certainty and conviction, putting you in a state of alignment that can attract miraculous results.

I would end this chapter with the following verse from the Bible:

"If you believe, you can move the highest mountain." (Matthew 17:20)

Desire Disorder

This disorder arises when we desire something deeply, but the path to attaining it appears too difficult or seemingly impossible. In response, we settle for cheaper alternatives—shortcuts that may provide temporary relief but are ultimately wasteful, harmful, immoral, inhumane, or even criminal. Often, these alternatives combine several of these negative traits, leading to outcomes far removed from the fulfillment of our true desires.

For example, imagine you desire wealth but are jobless and broke. In desperation, the idea of stealing something crosses your mind. If you succeed, you may gain temporary riches, but at what cost? For how long? Until you steal again? This is not the sustainable and honorable wealth you initially sought.

Similarly, consider someone seeking true love. Instead of finding a genuine connection, they settle for a pretty face, showering them with money or resources in hopes of earning their love. The affection lasts only as long as the money does, leaving the person unfulfilled and hurt. Or perhaps they degrade themselves, serving someone like a slave to gain their affection—would that be considered true love?

These alternatives don’t come easy either; they extract as much pain, if not more, than pursuing the real thing. The misconception lies in believing there is a shortcut to success that avoids the journey of self-development. The reality is this:

There is no path to success that bypasses the bridge of personal growth.

Success isn’t something you merely acquire; it’s something you become through righteous and persistent effort toward your true desire. The pain and challenges of personal development are not obstacles but stepping stones, refining you into the person capable of achieving and sustaining your dreams.

“Desire itself is not evil, the means to achieve it can be good or bad”

Chapter 3 - Goals

“Where You Stand and Where You Want To Go”

Now that we understand the importance of knowledge and clarity in our desires, we must take the next essential step: defining our goals. For this, two things must be crystal clear:

  1. Your Current Position in Life

  2. Your Goals

Your Current Position

Imagine being lost in a dense forest during a thunderstorm without a compass or map. At that moment:

  • Do you know which way leads to safety?

  • Do you know how far your destination is?

  • Do you have the resources to make the journey?

Without answers to these questions, every step forward would be uncertain, filled with doubt and fear. This is why it is critical to assess your current position in life honestly and thoroughly.

Knowing where you stand allows you to set realistic goals—ones you believe you can achieve. This doesn’t mean accepting limitations; it means identifying them so you can work to overcome them.

Some may argue that this approach feels limiting, especially if they’re familiar with motivational content urging them to dream big without looking back. However, understanding your limitations doesn’t confine you—it empowers you. By facing your self-imposed boundaries, you can recognize whether they conflict with your ultimate purpose. And if they do, you can break them down using tools like the meditations discussed in the final chapter of this book.

Before We Start

Take a journal, or if you prefer to work paper-free, use an app or software of your choice. Ensure that its storage is in a place of value, where it feels important and meaningful to you. This journal will be your sacred space to record all the exercises mentioned in this chapter.

The Importance of Setting Goals

Without goals, life becomes aimless. You drift, unable to channel your energy or efforts effectively.

In the Holy Quran, Allah says in Surah Al-Fatiha (1:7):
"Guide us on the Straight Path—
The path of those who have earned Your favor,
Not of those who have gone astray."

Who are the astray? They are the ones without direction—those who either pursue the wrong path or wander aimlessly, lacking purpose or destination. Islam consistently emphasizes the ultimate goal: Paradise. This, in itself, is a call to aim high and set clear, righteous goals.

Similarly, the Bible highlights the significance of aligning our goals with divine purpose. In Proverbs 16:3 (NIV), it states:
"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans."

This verse reinforces the idea that setting goals isn’t just a secular exercise—it’s a sacred act of entrusting your aspirations to God, seeking His guidance and blessing in their fulfillment.

Religions across the world encourage us to aim, to plan, and to strive for a higher purpose. Whether you are pursuing spiritual, personal, or professional success, the act of setting a goal is foundational to progress.

Learning from History

Throughout human history, no one has achieved greatness without clear goals. Every remarkable figure—from inventors and leaders to saints and scholars—had a vision that drove them forward.

The secret lies not only in having a goal but also in defining it with clarity and purpose. The more specific your aim, the more actionable it becomes. Instead of vague dreams, you create a structured plan for your life’s journey.

Goals are not just milestones; they are a reflection of your desires, your faith, and your commitment to self-development.

What If You Don’t Know Your Goals?

The answer is simpler than you think, yet most people miss it because they’ve never truly taken the time to reflect.
A renowned scientist was once asked by a reporter, “What do you think is wrong with people today?” He replied with a single, profound sentence:
"They don’t think."

This lack of introspection is often why people wander aimlessly, unsure of what they truly want. To uncover your goals, you must begin by thinking deeply about your desires and aspirations. Take time to ask yourself meaningful questions:

  • What excites me?

  • What fulfills me?

  • What do I want to leave as my legacy?

Can You Make Any Goal and Then Achieve It?

It’s a common question, and the answer is both empowering and humbling. No, you cannot achieve every random goal you set. But the goals you can achieve are those rooted in your deepest, most heartfelt desires.

Here’s the truth: Goals aligned with your core desires are the ones that drive you, inspire you, and push you through challenges. That’s why goal-setting is deeply personal—no two people will pursue their goals with the same passion, because everyone’s desires differ.

Examples of Desire-Driven Goals

  • Some people are motivated by wealth, striving to build riches and create financial empires.

  • Others only seek financial stability to live a simple, comfortable life.

  • Some yearn for deep, passionate love, while others value independence or companionship in moderation.

  • Some dream of sculpted, athletic bodies, while others focus on maintaining basic health and vitality.

Once you identify what you truly desire, goal-setting becomes a natural extension of your innermost self. It’s not about mimicking someone else’s dreams; it’s about honoring your unique aspirations and working towards them with unwavering commitment.

Types of Goals

Goals shape the path of our lives, but not all goals are created equal. Broadly, there are three types of goals:

  1. The North Star

  2. Conformity

  3. Compromise

1. The North Star

In ancient times, travelers used the North Star to navigate their journeys. It was a constant guiding light, offering direction amidst uncertainty. This is why I call this type of goal The North Star—it keeps you on the path that feels deeply right, even when the way is unclear.

  • This goal excites and terrifies you simultaneously.

  • Speaking of it to others will evoke mixed reactions: a few will believe in you, but many will laugh or discourage you.

  • It ignites immense willpower within you, though you may not know how to achieve it.

  • Setbacks don’t deter you; you get back up, relying on the inner strength God has instilled in your heart.

  • Achieving this goal feels miraculous. It completes you, bringing a sense of profound fulfillment.

2. Conformity

Conformity is one of the greatest ailments of humanity—people striving to fit into societal molds rather than embracing their true selves. Unlike the unwavering North Star, goals rooted in conformity shift with trends and societal expectations, often leading down a path of ignorance.

  • This type of goal can be achieved with hard work and some luck.

  • When you share this goal, most people will encourage you because it aligns with societal standards of success.

  • Achieving this goal earns you recognition as “successful” by society’s terms, even if you don’t feel fulfilled.

  • Your willpower stays strong as long as you’re succeeding. However, setbacks often leave you searching for external motivation—through self-help books, religion, friends, family, or therapy.

3. Compromise

Compromise is the path of inferiority, hopelessness, and fear. It is the state of a slave without visible chains—a life where you surrender your desires and rights to others. Even ancient slaves held some dignity, serving one master. Those who compromise often serve many masters, secretly resenting their lives while awaiting death.

  • This is the goal others impose on you, forcing you to meet their expectations.

  • Your willpower remains weak, and at the first sign of difficulty, you’re quick to give up.

  • People pursuing these goals often experience depression, leading to physical ailments.

  • Even if you succeed in achieving these goals, true happiness will remain elusive.

Why Understanding Your Goals Is Crucial

Before embarking on any journey, it’s essential to define your goals. Why? Because often, the things you dislike doing are the very things that lead you to your deepest desires. When you understand why you must endure challenges or take uncomfortable steps, it gives you the courage to persevere.

This idea is beautifully reflected in a verse from the Holy Quran:

“It may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you, and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allah knows, and you do not know.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:216)

In my own experience, I’ve found that moments that seemed to go “wrong” were often aligning perfectly with a greater plan. Gratitude and calm reflection reveal that even difficulties have purpose.

As Tony Robbins wisely says:
"Nothing happens to me, everything happens for me."

Identifying Your Goals

Everyone talks about setting goals, but few explain how to do it. This is what makes this book unique and valuable—I will guide you step by step through the process of identifying and setting meaningful goals.

There are three main categories of goals in life:

  1. Relationship Goals

  2. Financial Goals

  3. Health Goals

How to Begin Setting Your Goals

To set your goals, start by asking yourself: How do I want these three areas of my life to look?

  • What kind of relationships would bring me happiness and fulfillment?

  • What level of financial independence or success do I want to achieve?

  • What does optimal health look like for me, and how can I get there?

Tailoring Your Focus

If you have a specific area you want to focus on—such as financial independence—you can skip the other sections. However, I strongly encourage you to explore all three categories and complete the exercises for each.

Why? Because sometimes the things you think matter most may actually be influenced by societal or media hype, while the areas you overlook could hold the key to your deepest fulfillment.

Setting Relationship Goals

What type of life partner do you want and what type of partner will you be to him or her?

Turning Relationship Desire Into Goal

Now we are going to open the secret of your heart and brain or consciousns and ego to find out the the exact personality and appearance that you so dearly and deeply desire in a life partner.

You need to do the below exercise when you are absolutely relaxed and the environment is not distracting you.

The reason of the below exercise is to find out the precise reason of attraction both physical and mental, this will help draw a picture of your desired life partner that surely is out there.

It will also help you rule out certain wrong people that you will find attractive in the future, by fully knowing why you are attracted to them.

(On a personal note I did do this exercise and today when I see someone who seems attractive but is not the type of person, I would like to be in a relationship with, I simply stay away, before this exercise however I had my heart broken 5 times with lots of suffering including one toxic marriage.)

At the end of this exercise, you will have the psychological profile of your desired partner and with this profile in your subconscious mind, you will only observe people with this characteristic and avoid anything that does not resonate with your mental picture, you will know what you want in a relationship and what you are offering in a relationship, this exercise will help you understand what to expect in a relationship with a certain type of personalities and it will remove your unreal expectations developed by drama serials.

Physical Appearance

Take a look back as long as you can in your history, what type of person attracted you, or you simply like, no matter if you have seen that person live or on TV, write down the exact or approximate details.

Person One Appearance:

  • Height ____________

  • Weight ___________

  • Color ____________

  • Hair_____________

Person Two Appearance:

  • Height ____________

  • Weight ___________

  • Color ____________

  • Hair_____________

Person Three Appearance:

  • Height ____________

  • Weight ___________

  • Color ____________

  • Hair_____________

  • Take a clean sheet of paper and write the above

  • You need to add at least three people that you found attractive (the more the better), if you are afraid to write their names then simply just write features.

  • You can also add more people, and you don’t need to be embarrassed about how many first loves you had, This is your life and reality, not some drama that has fable concepts such as “first love”

  • Add any other feature also that you found attractive

  • If a certain feature does not matter to you write it down still, you might be surprised to know if it was common in all the people you liked

Now write down the common feature in all the people you liked over the years. E.g if you liked long hair in two or more people or short height then write them down.

Ideal Appearance:

  • Height _____Short _______

  • Weight ___________

  • Color ____________

  • Hair____long_________

Now you will have an ideal appearance that your ego finds attractive, remember these are body features and the body and mind are a part of ego.

But do not consider this a final picture when it comes to appearances, by writing down all the types of bodies you found attractive you now know the type of people, you might get attracted to as they are a part of your memory, just like the taste of desert you have eaten and loved  20 years ago, as soon as you eat something that tastes or smells the same you will instantly like it.

By knowing that it's just your body getting attracted and not some divine sign or love at first sight, you can think more objectively and explore further before throwing yourself into a relationship.

Personality

There are no words that can truly encapsulate the importance of valuing personality above beauty, wealth, and power. To pay tribute to the essence of personality, here are some of my quotes:

  • “Personality is 80 percent value of a human being in life and afterlife.”

  • “Personality never ages nor does it ever die.”

  • “Personality is your soul.”

  • “Personality is your reality.”

If you read any holy text, you’ll notice that the nations destroyed before us often had beauty, wealth, and power. What they lacked was character. In all cases, those who prevailed were individuals of profound personality—Prophets, Saints, and Philosophers. Their power wasn’t rooted in worldly possessions but in their good, positive, and pleasant personalities.

When we are young, the rush of hormones often leads our Body Mind to control many of our decisions. Among these decisions, entering a relationship is perhaps the most significant—and also where much heartache begins.

People often complain about having their hearts broken, but how many of us truly care for our hearts before they are shattered? Rarely. Most of us are driven by the desire to satisfy fleeting physical urges, mistaking that for love. And when those desires are fulfilled, we assume that a good personality will automatically accompany a pretty face or a big bank balance—just like fries that usually come with a burger.

If you disagree, reflect on your diet during your youth. Did you eat healthy, nourishing food, or did you indulge in oily, greasy, and sugary meals? If you were an exception, then you might have also made better relationship choices. But for most, the fast-paced race toward material success often leads us to forget what truly matters and what is genuinely good for us.

Beauty and  Perception

When I was younger, I used to wonder:

  • How could a man like me ever be attracted to an older woman?

  • Would I still find my soulmate attractive when she aged?

Life answered these questions the hard way. I entered relationships with two beautiful women who, despite their outward beauty, caused me immense pain. These faces, once dearer to me than anything in the world, became the ugliest in my eyes.

This experience led me to research the phenomenon of beauty and perception. I realized that while our eyes initially perceive someone’s appearance, our minds ultimately shape the image of that person based on their personality.

Consider this:

  • Many snakes are visually stunning, and tigers are majestic, but once we understand their potential harm, their beauty becomes irrelevant.

  • An elderly mother may look frail to the world, yet to her son, she is the most beautiful woman in existence.

  • A child might seem unattractive to others, but to their parents, they are a masterpiece.

Through these reflections, I found my answer. When my beloved soulmate ages, she will remain as breathtakingly beautiful to me as she is today. Her kindness and love will have etched a vision of her in my mind that transcends physical appearances. By then, I will no longer see her with my eyes alone—I will see her through the lens of my heart and soul.

You could say that love will have blinded me by then.

Personality Type

Again I want you to dive into your memory and see what type of personality you admire, you will notice I have added dressing to personality instead of adding it to appearance, this is because your dressing directly reflects your personality.

Person One :

  • Demeanor : (Serious, Innocent, Funny, Childish etc)

  • Manners : (Respectful, witty or normal)

  • Speech: (soft, strong, normal)

  • Religious beliefs: (soft, strong, normal)

  • Social Preference ( Very Social, Less Social, Prefers Solitude)

  • Interaction with you ( talkative, to the point, silent)

  • Dressing : (Normal Socially Accepted, Trending Fashion, Religious)

Person Two :

  • Demeanor : (Serious, Innocent, Funny, Childish etc)

  • Manners : (Respectful, witty or normal)

  • Speech: (soft, strong, normal)

  • Religious beliefs: (soft, strong, normal)

  • Social Preference ( Very Social, Less Social, Prefers Solitude)

  • Interaction with you ( talkative, to the point, slient)

  • Dressing : (Normal Socially Accepted, Trending Fashion, Religious)

Person Three :

  • Demeanor : (Serious, Innocent, Funny, Childish etc)

  • Manners : (Respectful, witty or normal)

  • Speech: (soft, strong, normal)

  • Religious beliefs: (soft, strong, normal)

  • Social Preference ( Very Social, Less Social, Prefers Solitude)

  • Interaction with you ( talkative, to the point, slient)

  • Dressing : (Normal Socially Accepted, Trending Fashion, Religious)

Now write down the common feature in all the people you liked over the years.

Ideal Personality :

For Example:

  • Demeanor : (Serious)

  • Manners : (Respectful)

  • Speech: (Soft)

  • Religious beliefs: (strong)

  • Social Preference ( Prefers Solitude)

  • Interaction with you (Talkative)

  • Dressing : (Normal Socially Accepted)

You can add or change any of the above points according to your preference.

Important Note

  • Remember to be truthful in describing your ideal partner physically and personality-wise.

  • After having a complete description of the type of person you want in your life, do remain a little flexible to the points that are not that important to you. Especially when it comes to appearance.

  • Your perfect partner may not be perfect in every way but if she or he matches upto 60% of your ideal life partner’s description then she or he will be a perfect choice.

  • Always remember that there are some things that you desire in a relationship above all and if a person can provide those things then you should proceed but if even one of the important aspects is missing then you should never proceed.

Relationship Requirements

Defining your relationship requirements is an essential step toward building a meaningful and lasting connection with your partner. By reflecting on both your needs and what you are willing to offer, you can ensure a balanced, healthy, and fulfilling relationship. Use the following questions to clarify your expectations and commitment levels.

Requirements from Your Partner

These questions help you define what you need in a relationship. Be honest and detailed in your answers:

  1. Love & Loyalty: What level of devotion do you seek? (Normal, High, Near the Point of Worship)

  2. Sexual Attraction: What intensity of attraction do you expect? (Normal, Low, High)

  3. Care: How much care do you desire? (Normal, Low, High)

  4. Respect: What level of respect is important to you? (Normal, Friendly, High)

  5. Freedom: How much independence do you value?

    • No freedom: Always together except for work.

    • Allowed me time: Socializing, attending public gatherings, etc.

    • Complete freedom: Come and go as you please.

  6. Family Relationship: What type of relationship do you want your partner to have with your family?

    • Become a member of my family.

    • Respect and care for them.

    • Serve them.

  7. Services: What services do you expect from your partner?

    • Home chores (for you and your children).

    • Family chores (entire household).

    • Financial support (job or business).

    • No services required (just love and care).

What Are You Offering?

This section ensures that you evaluate what you bring to the relationship. Balance is key!

  1. Love & Loyalty: How much are you willing to offer? (Normal, High, Near the Point of Worship)

  2. Care: What level of care will you provide? (Normal, Low, High)

  3. Respect: How much respect will you give your partner? (Normal, Friendly, High)

  4. Freedom: How much independence will you allow?

    • No freedom: Always together except for work.

    • Allowed me time: Socializing, attending public gatherings, etc.

    • Complete freedom.

  5. In-Law Relationship: How will you engage with your partner's family?

    • Become a family member.

    • Respect and care for them.

    • Serve them.

  6. Services: What will you provide in the relationship?

    • Home chores.

    • Family chores.

    • Financial support (job or business).

    • No services offered (just love and care).

Self-Reflection

Once you’ve answered all the questions, review your responses. Compare what you expect from your partner with what you’re offering in return. This exercise can help you identify any imbalance, adjust your expectations, or even realize you’re searching in the wrong places for love and companionship.

At the end of this exercise you now have a clear picture of your goal. This exercise was  structured to ensure clarity, mutual respect, and a foundation for a balanced relationship.

Setting Financial Goals

Many of you are reading this book because you want to learn how to attract money into your life. This chapter is the key to unlocking your financial destiny.

All you need to do is follow each step—even if you feel skeptical at first—and watch as miracles begin to unfold. Imagine million-dollar ideas flashing through your mind, opportunities appearing from unexpected places, and praise coming from people you never thought would notice you. You will have the money to buy everything and anything money can offer.

This transformation begins with setting clear, purposeful goals. When you align your goals with action and approach them with unwavering persistence, the universe responds in kind.

While there are countless gurus who teach goal-setting, my aim is to make this process so precise that it not only clarifies your objectives but also uncovers the depths of your desires. Why? Because it’s your desires—the burning fire within—that fuel your efforts and drive you toward the achievement of your dreams.

Turning Financial Desire Into Goal

Many people say they want a lot of money, but what does "a lot" really mean?

For a beggar, the money in your pocket may be a lot.
For you, your boss might have a lot of money.
For your boss, it might be his competitors who have a lot of money.
And this chain continues until we reach the richest person in the world.

So, the real question is: How much money is "a lot" to you? More importantly, what will that money do for you?

In the following exercise, you need to list all the things you want and their costs, along with all your average monthly expenses. You can get your expenses by simply looking at your previous month's bills. In the next section, write down the things you dream of having and their costs.

At the end, you'll see how much money you need to earn to get what you truly want. Keep in mind that if it's your deep, sincere desire to have everything you list, then surely there is a way, and with faith, it will come to you.

Desired Income

To determine how much money you truly need, write down all your expenses along with the costs of your desired lifestyle and possessions.

Calculating Expenses:

  1. How much do you pay in bills each month (approximate)? ___________

  2. How much do you spend on groceries each month (approximate)? ___________

  3. How much do you spend on self-improvement (makeup, clothes, shoes, etc.) each month (approximate)? ___________

  4. How much do you spend on your family (makeup, clothes, shoes, etc.) each month (approximate)? ___________

  5. How much do you spend on medical expenses (self and family) each month (approximate)? ___________

  6. How much do you spend on charity each month (approximate)? ___________

  7. How much is your rent (if applicable)? ____________

  8. How much do you spend on fuel and vehicle maintenance each month (approximate)? _____________

You can add any other significant expenses.

Total Expenses:

Write down the total amount of your expenses: ____________

Now, multiply that total by 4. This gives you the amount of income you need to live comfortably, without feeling burdened by expenses. For example, if your total income is 100,000, with 25,000 as your monthly expenses, you would save 75,000.

Total Expenses × 4 = Total income to satisfy you

Your Financial Dream:
  1. How much does your dream house cost? ___________ (Be honest here. If you're happy with a small home, write its cost.)

  2. How much does your dream car cost? ___________

  3. Write down anything else you truly desire and its cost.

Now, simply write down the total amount of money you need: ____________

Time To Accumulate Desired Money

Let’s say you need 10 million to get everything you want. To calculate how long it will take to reach this target by saving 75,000 per month:

Number of Months:
Number of Months = Target Amount / Monthly Savings
Number of Months = 10,000,000 / 75,000 ≈ 133.33 months

Number of Years:
Number of Years = Number of Months / 12
Number of Years = 133.33 / 12 ≈ 11.11 years

Saving 75,000 per month will take approximately 133.33 months, or 11.11 years, to reach 10 million. This seems achievable, but it’s still a long time. I recommend always setting goals that can be achieved within 5 years, or even 1 year.

Achieving Financial Dream

To calculate how much you need to save each month to reach 10 million in 5 years:

Total Number of Months:
Number of Months = Number of Years × 12
Number of Months = 5 × 12 = 60 months

Required Monthly Savings:
Monthly Savings = Target Amount / Number of Months
Monthly Savings = 10,000,000 / 60 ≈ 166,666.67

To reach 10 million in 5 years, you need to save approximately 167,000 per month.

Now, add 25,000 for your monthly expenses, which makes 192,000. Let’s round it up to 200,000. So, you would need a monthly income of 200,000 to live your financial dream.

For some, this amount might not seem so difficult, and they may already be thinking of ways to increase their income or reduce expenses. For others, this monthly income might seem impossible to achieve.

But here’s what you’ve gained from this exercise: a realization of how much money you need. Have faith that the God who put this desire in your heart has also created a way for you to achieve it. You may not know how yet, but you will find out—provided you don’t tell yourself it’s impossible.

When you say "it's impossible," your mind, which is connected to the universe, shuts down this topic and stops searching for a solution. However, if you say, "How can I achieve this income?" and allow your mind to search for the answer, you will receive the ideas and opportunities that will lead you to fulfill your desire.

I will say again: “The fuel for the achievement of any goal is the desire behind it.”

What Are You Willing to Do for the Wealth You Desire?

(Anything – Some Things)

Even with clear goals and a solid plan, achieving financial independence requires effort, persistence, and sacrifice. If your aspirations are both legal and moral, there is no excuse not to give your best.

To achieve your dream life, you must be willing to:

  • Take on any job that aligns with your abilities and values.

  • Work as many hours as necessary.

  • Learn new skills, no matter how challenging.

  • Endure setbacks such as prejudice, fraud, or economic downturns.

This journey demands that you push beyond your limits and go "all in." Settling for less or staying in your comfort zone will only lead to dissatisfaction, stress, and regret.

Do everything in your power—and a little extra—to create the life you desire. Remember, the rewards of perseverance far outweigh the temporary discomforts of effort.

This exercise has helped you gain clarity on the exact amount of money you need to achieve your financial goals and live the life you truly desire. By breaking down your expenses and understanding the costs of your dreams, you now have a clear target in mind. This awareness empowers you to take actionable steps toward your goal, whether it's increasing your income, managing your expenses, or exploring new opportunities. Remember, the key is to stay focused, believe in your ability to achieve your dreams, and trust that with faith and persistence, the path to your financial freedom will unfold. Keep your desire strong, and let it fuel your journey toward the life you deserve.

Setting Health Goals

Everyone desires good health, but the definition of perfect health varies from person to person. You may want to slim down, gain weight, or simply feel more energetic and vibrant. Whatever your idea of health is, it needs to become a clear, actionable goal.

Whether you aim to maintain a healthy, normal life or are facing a serious health challenge—be it for yourself or a loved one—there is always hope. Even in the face of daunting diagnoses or discouraging lab results, setting the right goals can pave the way to recovery and vitality.

Your health goals are not just about physical changes but about reclaiming the joy and freedom that come with a healthy body and mind.

Curing Disease

For some of us, the urgency to live and heal outweighs the luxury of time to explore broader goals. That’s why we begin here—with setting goals to cure disease.

What Is Disease and Disorder?

“Disease is the state that is created in the body after a state of mental unease is sustained for a long period in the mind.”

When you dwell on thoughts that make you uncomfortable or distressed, those emotions leave an imprint on your body. Over time, if such mental discomfort persists, it manifests as physical disease. The time it takes for mental unease to transform into a disease varies, but the intensity of emotion behind the thought plays a crucial role.

To cure any disease, the first step is to cleanse your mind of discomfort, resentment, or guilt—whether directed toward yourself or others.

Guilt: The Silent Creator of Disease

Guilt is a powerful emotion that fosters self-punishment. Regardless of what your conscious mind believes or says, if your subconscious harbors guilt, it may create disease as a form of self-inflicted punishment. Addressing and releasing guilt is therefore essential for healing.

Setting Goals for Curing Disease or Achieving Ideal Weight

Answer the following questions to set clear, purposeful goals:

  1. Why do you want to lose weight or cure a specific disease?

  2. Who are you doing this for?

  3. What is your ideal weight?

  4. What is your ideal waist size?

  5. What type of body do you envision (muscular, slim, or normal)?

  6. What is your desired level of physical activity?

Additionally, list any other physical or emotional outcomes you desire.

What Are You Willing to Do?

Write down the actions you’re willing to take to achieve your health goals. For example:

  • I am willing to change my diet.

  • I am willing to do daily meditation.

  • I will maintain undying belief and doubtless expectation of success.

  • No matter how things appear, I will trust that everything is working to support my goal.

  • I will learn to love myself.

  • I will read books on personal development.

  • I will research effective methods to lose weight or heal.

  • I will attend seminars and workshops on the subject.

  • I will commit to programs and trainings (like the one I’m doing now).

  • I will make healthier nutritional choices.

  • I will exercise regularly.

  • I will seek the right medical treatment.

By writing these commitments, you create a powerful agreement within your subconscious mind. This internal alignment will motivate you to take the actions you’ve outlined. To amplify your results, read your written goals three times a day, every day.

Final Thought

In setting and pursuing these goals, you will uncover a deeper understanding of your purpose in life.

“In attaining your goals, you will clearly see your purpose in life.”

This chapter ends with this quote :

“In attaining your Goals you will clearly see your purpose in Life”

Part Two

Universe, Mind & Body

The Symphony of Existence

“Aligning the Universe, Mind, and Body"

Chapter 4 - Law of Vibration

“Law behind The Law of Attraction ”

The Law of Vibration states that everything vibrating at the same frequency is interconnected in its energy form, transcending space and time. When this frequency is maintained, physical objects linked to it—though bound by space and time—manifest at the right moment. This intricate function of the Law of Vibration is often simplified and referred to as the Law of Attraction, where "you attract what you think about."

In this chapter, we will prove—both scientifically and logically—beyond any doubt, that the Law of Vibration is a fundamental universal law. It is perhaps the most important law one must understand to achieve success in this life and the hereafter.

The Quantum Reality

To understand the Law of Vibration, we must first grasp some basic principles of quantum physics

At the heart of quantum physics, which explores the behavior of the tiniest particles—atoms and their subatomic components like electrons, photons, and neutrons—lies the truth that everything in the universe is fundamentally energy. Quantum physics has revolutionized our understanding of the universe, leading to breakthroughs in technology that shape our daily lives, such as cell phones, radios, and nuclear power.

But beyond these technological advances, quantum physics holds the key to understanding the vibrational nature of everything, including ourselves. You, me, the chair you're sitting on, the air you breathe—everything is made of atoms, and these atoms are in constant motion. This motion is vibration.

Important note: Atoms are composed of both matter and energy, and they can shift between these forms.

Matter and Energy: Two Sides of the Same Coin

Albert Einstein's equation E = mc² fundamentally changed our understanding of the universe. It demonstrates that matter and energy are essentially the same thing and can be converted into one another. At the smallest scales, matter can turn into energy and vice versa. This relationship is what powers nuclear reactions, but it also applies to everyday phenomena.

Energy: The Eternal Force

Energy cannot be created or destroyed. It simply changes from one form to another. This truth transcends both scientific and spiritual realms. Every major religion acknowledges the presence of a divine force or energy that is omnipresent, eternal, and boundless.

This eternal energy is continuously moving, shifting, and evolving, much like the particles within an atom. Just as these particles transcend the boundaries of time and space, so too does the energy of your thoughts and emotions. In essence, 'thought energy,' like all energy, manifests into its material form.

From Energy to Matter and Back

A perfect example of this interchange is the cycle of evaporation and condensation in water. Picture a glass of water sitting in the sun. As the water absorbs energy from the sun, its molecules begin to vibrate faster and faster, eventually breaking free from their liquid state and turning into vapor. This process, called evaporation, represents the transformation of matter (water) into energy (vapor).

But the cycle doesn’t end there. As the vapor rises and cools, it loses the energy it absorbed, causing the molecules to slow down. This leads to condensation, where the vapor returns to its liquid form, becoming water again. This process illustrates the transformation of energy (vapor) back into matter (water).

This cycle perfectly demonstrates how matter and energy are in constant interchange, much like the connection between your thoughts and reality. Your thoughts and emotions, vibrating at different frequencies, shape the state of your life—whether positively or negatively—just as the sun’s heat transforms water. In essence, your thought energy (like sunlight) affects whatever you focus on, and this transformation is measured as vibration.
The higher the frequency, the faster the transformation; the lower the frequency, the slower the change. So, whatever you desire in life, you need to focus on it more to elevate its vibrational frequency and bring it into reality.

The Observer Effect: Shaping Your Reality

How did we find out that our thoughts matter and that reality depends on our observation?

The Double-Slit Experiment:

One of the most famous experiments that demonstrated the observer effect is the Double-Slit Experiment, a key moment in the development of quantum physics.

In this experiment, scientists shot particles of light, known as photons, through two parallel slits onto a screen. When no one was observing the experiment, the photons behaved like waves, creating a pattern of interference on the screen, much like ripples in water. This wave pattern showed that the photons were not choosing a single path but were acting as if they were passing through both slits at once.

However, when scientists decided to observe the particles by placing detectors to see which slit they passed through, something incredible happened: the photons no longer behaved like waves. Instead, they acted like particles, passing through one slit or the other, and the interference pattern disappeared.

This proved that the very act of observation changed the behavior of the photons. When observed, they behaved as particles, but when unobserved, they behaved as waves.

What This Means for Us:

The double-slit experiment reveals something fundamental about the nature of reality: our observation can influence how energy behaves. This directly relates to the Law of Vibration because it shows how our thoughts — our focus and attention — influence the energy around us. We, as observers, affect the vibration and  frequency of the energy, ultimately shaping the reality we experience.

This is why positive thoughts bring positive experiences and negative thoughts attract negative experiences. The energy we observe through our thoughts and feelings shapes the vibrational frequency of our reality.

The Law of Vibration: Energy in Motion

Let’s break it down further. Atoms, the basic units of matter, consist of protons, electrons, and neutrons:

  • Protons carry a positive charge.

  • Electrons carry a negative charge.

  • Neutrons have no charge but play the role of stabilizing the atom.

When we zoom into the quantum level, we see that nothing is static; these particles are always in motion. This movement is what we call vibration, and every vibration has a specific frequency. What’s fascinating is that everything in the universe vibrates at different frequencies—from a rock to a human being. Even thoughts, emotions, and feelings have their own frequencies.

Now, here's the critical link: just as protons (positive energy) and electrons (negative energy) exist within an atom, your thoughts also carry a similar charge. Positive thoughts emit higher frequencies, much like protons, and negative thoughts emit lower frequencies, similar to electrons. These thoughts, like particles, do not exist in isolation but attract corresponding energies to themselves.

  • Positive thoughts (high-frequency vibrations) attract positive energy.

  • Negative thoughts (low-frequency vibrations) attract negative energy.

And just as neutrons stabilize the state of the atom, your subconscious mind—rooted in your paradigm—stabilizes the energy state you live in. It reinforces the patterns of thought and emotion that dominate your mind.

Emotions as Vibrations: The Link Between Feelings and Attraction

Your emotions also play a powerful role in this vibrational equation. The emotions you feel most frequently create the dominant vibration in your life. For example:

  • If you consistently feel anger, you will attract more situations that evoke anger. But anger is often rooted in pain and unrest, so you may also attract situations that amplify these underlying emotions, such as sickness or accidents.

  • If you frequently feel joy, you will attract more joyous events. Joy is rooted in pleasure and peace, so you may attract pleasant surprises like a promotion, an unexpected vacation, or a special meal.

The feeling behind your thoughts is what draws more of that feeling into your life. This is why the Law of Vibration precedes the Law of Attraction—you attract what you feel.

You Are the Creator of Your Reality

In summary, the Law of Vibration demonstrates that everything in the universe is in constant motion, vibrating at different frequencies. Your thoughts that create emotions are no exception. They are energy, and they emit vibrations that attract experiences of the same frequency.

Through conscious awareness, you can control your vibration and, in turn, shape the reality you experience. By maintaining high-frequency thoughts and emotions—such as love, gratitude, and joy—you will attract more of the same into your life. Conversely, low-frequency emotions like fear, anger, and resentment will draw more negativity.

In the grand scheme, you are not just a passive observer but the active creator of your life. By mastering the Law of Vibration, you gain the power to consciously design the life you desire

Chapter 5 - The Conscious Mind

“Your life today is the Total of your Thoughts till date”

Why is This Important to Learn?

We often know what’s right, yet we do the opposite. Why is that? By the end of this lesson, you’ll understand why changing habits can feel difficult, but also why it’s surprisingly easy once you apply the right technique. This knowledge can only be gained by understanding how the mind works.

Once I understood how the mind works, every puzzle inside my head came together. I was finally able to design my thoughts in such a way that their vibrations would bring what I desired into my life. This also allowed me to stop the involuntary vibrations caused by my lack of awareness.

What is the Mind?

The mind is something no one has ever physically seen. You can see the brain, but you cannot see the mind that operates it. A good analogy is that the mind is like software, while the brain is the hardware. The software’s actions are visible, but the software itself cannot be physically seen.

There are many theories regarding the mind, some suggesting it might not even be inside the body but rather operating remotely, like a cloud-based software. My belief, after studying the mind's functions, is that what we call the "mind" is referred to as the "soul" in religious teachings. Regardless, we are concerned with how the mind functions, whether it’s inside or outside the body.

How the Mind Works

Our brain is divided into two parts:

  1. Conscious Mind

  2. Subconscious Mind

The frontal lobe of the brain is the seat of our consciousness, while the rest of the brain serves as the homeland of the subconscious mind. However, there’s also a third hidden element known as the Body’s Mind, which functions through the body; we have a complete chapter for that later in this book.

"The conscious mind is what separates humans from animals."

The conscious mind is our alert state, during which we intentionally perform actions such as learning, decision-making, and reasoning. This part of the brain works through thoughts.

Animals either lack a conscious mind or have a less-evolved version of it, as seen in certain animals like dolphins and monkeys.

The Eye of Consciousness

Our conscious mind is active only 5% of the time throughout the day. If you’re awake for 16 hours, your conscious mind is fully present for only about 48 minutes.

When we say that the conscious mind is only present 5% of the time, it means that it's constantly moving between the past, present, and future. You might focus on something in front of you, then suddenly think about a past event, or project your thoughts into the future. Your conscious mind is a time traveler, and while you can’t stop this movement, you can choose what you focus on from the present, past or the future.

This mental shift happens faster than the speed of light.

Space and the Conscious Mind

Like time, the conscious mind isn’t bound by space. Your thoughts can travel anywhere. You can be physically at work but mentally at home, or your mind might venture into unknown places like daydreams and fantasies.

In simple terms, the conscious mind isn’t bound by time or space.

The key thing to remember is that wherever your conscious mind goes, and whatever it experiences, becomes a part of your subconscious memory. The subconscious mind cannot distinguish between thoughts and reality, a concept we will explore later in this chapter.

The Ability to Reason

The conscious mind uses its ability to reason to distinguish right from wrong. Since its primary function is to think, it has the power to form opinions. There’s also an instinct present in the subconscious mind that gives emotional hints, but it takes the reasoning ability of the conscious mind to fully understand these hints These hints are commonly called the 6th sense.

When the mind is confused, it may follow its instincts at times, or it might follow the opinion of someone else. In such a state, political leaders, religious scholars, marketers, and influencers can easily sway your thoughts. This can be dangerous if their motives serve only themselves. However, you don’t have to gamble if you do your own thinking.

Conscious Mind and the Five Senses

The conscious mind receives information through the five senses and assigns meaning to that information through thoughts, which are then sent to the subconscious mind for emotional association and storage.

For instance, when you see a blue balloon, your conscious mind processes this information using previously stored memories. The same process happens with hearing, smelling, tasting, or touching something. When the subconscious doesn’t have an exact memory, it provides the closest approximation. While this can sometimes lead to errors, this ability has led to many inventions, discoveries, and artistic masterpieces.

Conscious Mind Communication

The conscious mind communicates with the subconscious mind through thoughts. It also has the power to observe and control emotions. When it comes to the body, the conscious mind controls its movements and can observe its feelings.

Even though the conscious mind has this power, it’s important to remember that 95% of our daily movements are controlled by the subconscious mind.

Conscious Mind and Memory

Whatever thoughts pass through the conscious mind are carefully observed by the subconscious. The conclusions of those thoughts are stored for future reference. Each time a thought is repeated, the subconscious strengthens its memory of that thought. This allows the conscious mind to continue from where it left off, rather than starting from scratch.

For example, if you learn something, you don’t have to learn it again because the memory is stored in your subconscious. The strength of that memory depends on how often the thought is repeated or how emotionally impactful the experience was.

Fear of the Known and Unknown

The instinctive response of the subconscious mind is often fear when encountering anything unknown. This response, embedded in the human mind for survival, protected our ancestors from potential threats. However, this fear becomes a hindrance to personal growth when we avoid seeking the light of reason.

If the fear is of the unknown, the solution is to gain knowledge and familiarity. If the fear is of the known, it signifies that the mind failed to understand it fully the first time. To overcome both types of fear, one needs to confront the unknown using the conscious mind and with understanding and preparation you can achieve mastery.

Example 1: Fear of the Unknown Let’s say you’re afraid of a job interview (a fear of the unknown).

  • Action 1: You continue fearing, doing nothing to prepare.

  • Action 2: You research the company, study the job role, and practice for the interview—essentially preparing yourself.

Which of the two actions is more logical? Obviously, Action 2.

Example 2: Fear of the Known Now, let’s say you once took Action 1 and failed the interview because you didn’t prepare. Next time, you have two options again:

  • Action 1: Keep fearing and let the memory of failure control you.

  • Action 2: Learn from your previous mistake, gain the knowledge and prepare yourself thoroughly.

Once again, Action 2 is the most logical approach. With preparation and understanding, you will master that fear, and it will no longer hold power over you.

Synthetic Thoughts (Imagination)

Every thought or spoken word creates an image in your head, whether real or made up. Imagination is like a personal world inside your mind where anything is possible. Everything man has ever created began in his imagination. Imagination allows us to create new things or improve upon reality.

We’ll explore imagination more throughout this book, but for now, remember that whatever you think creates an image in your mind that the subconscious records—whether it’s real or imagined.

Chapter 6 - The Subconscious Mind

Introduction to the Subconscious Mind

The subconscious mind is the part of us that operates below the surface of conscious thought. It’s like a vast reservoir holding memories, beliefs, habits, and emotions, quietly influencing our behavior and decisions without our active awareness. This part of the mind is powerful, storing every experience, emotion, and lesson from life, shaping how we respond to the world around us.

Our subconscious is active 24/7, even while we sleep, processing information and guiding our instincts. When we repeat certain thoughts, emotions, or actions, they get embedded in the subconscious, becoming patterns that shape our reality. This inner mind doesn’t rationalize like the conscious mind does; instead, it accepts information as truth, making it highly impressionable yet profoundly influential.

Learning to understand and work with the subconscious mind can unlock potential, help reframe limiting beliefs, and open doors to a life that aligns with our truest self. It’s the silent guide, and when we align our conscious intentions with the subconscious, we can transform our lives with greater ease and depth.

Subconscious Mind: Two Main Types of Functions

The subconscious mind is a profound and complex entity; even a ten-volume work could only scratch the surface of its capabilities. However, for the purposes of this book, we’ll focus on two primary functions:

  • Psychological – covering perception, and habits

  • Physical – managing the autonomic nervous system

Perception

Perception is the subconscious mind’s pre-set concept about anything, formed from past experiences. In the previous chapter, we explored how memories are stored within the subconscious mind. From these memories, perceptions take shape.

Perception essentially directs your daily life by setting expectations about your experiences. This includes how you interpret and respond to whatever engages your five senses. Though the process may seem intricate, perception fundamentally boils down to two types:

  • Pleasurable

  • Painful

Whatever has provided pleasure in the past forms a positive perception, while experiences of pain, fear, confusion, or dissatisfaction result in negative perceptions.

In reality, however, many things possess both pleasurable and painful qualities, leading to mixed perceptions. This is especially true when we factor in morality and mental health. Some experiences, for example, may be physically gratifying but psychologically detrimental, as in the case of adultery.

Since 99% of our decisions are driven by perception, the nature of these choices depends on whether our perception leans positively or negatively. Negative perceptions can lead to negative choices 99% of the time, just as positive perceptions can guide us toward positive outcomes. This duality highlights why perceptions cannot be left unexamined. It’s essential to consciously audit important perceptions to ensure they serve our true well-being.

The art of engineering perception will be explained later in this book.

Habit

A habit is a consistent pattern of thoughts and actions that becomes ingrained in the subconscious mind over time. At its core, a habit is formed through repetition, where certain thoughts, behaviors, or responses are so often repeated that they transition from being consciously executed to becoming automatic.

Habits are a blend of internal and external triggers:

For instance, waking up in the morning is an internal experience that kickstarts a series of external actions. Imagine if you commit to doing 10 pushups each morning. Initially, it takes conscious effort, but after a few weeks, the act of waking up automatically signals your body to begin exercising. This is how a habit is formed — the morning wake-up call becomes a trigger for the pushups.

Similarly, after your exercise routine, what follows can also become habitual. If you live with family, you might head to the washroom and then join your loved ones for breakfast. On the other hand, if you live alone, your routine might involve heading to the kitchen to prepare breakfast yourself. In both cases, the external environment influences your habitual actions.

The Nature of Habit Formation

When you embark on any new activity, whether it's mental or physical, it often feels challenging at first. However, with consistency, it becomes second nature. This is because habits are essentially the subconscious mind's way of streamlining actions, allowing you to perform them effortlessly without the conscious mind's involvement.

For example, think back to when you first learned to walk. It was a struggle, but over time, walking became an automatic action that no longer required conscious effort. However, if you were to suddenly focus intensely on each step, trying to consciously control your walking, you'd likely stumble like a toddler. This illustrates that while it’s the conscious mind that initially learns new skills, it’s the subconscious mind that takes over, implementing them automatically, smoothly, and unconsciously.

Why Activities Lose Their Initial Thrill

You may have noticed that activities you once found enjoyable lose their excitement over time. On the flip side, tasks you once dreaded eventually become indifferent or even easy. This happens because, as you continue to perform an action repeatedly, your conscious mind no longer needs to focus on it. The subconscious mind takes over, turning it into an automatic process.

When your conscious focus is removed, the emotional intensity diminishes. That initial thrill or resistance you once felt fades because the mind no longer needs to engage deeply in that action. This is why twists and surprises in a movie, game, or even in life itself keep things exciting. As soon as the experience becomes predictable, your mind clears it out of the conscious mind, saving its energy for new, more stimulating experiences.

In other words, it’s not that you’re truly “losing interest” in something; rather, your mind has optimized the task, placing it on autopilot. This frees up your conscious awareness to seek out new challenges and experiences that demand attention. This is why we constantly crave novelty — it’s the mind’s way of keeping itself engaged and stimulated.

Understanding this mechanism is crucial for personal growth. It means that if you want to sustain interest or passion in any area of life, you need to introduce new challenges or variations to keep your conscious mind engaged. It’s the art of keeping the brain on its toes, making even routine experiences feel fresh again.

The Deeper Definition of Habit

Habits serve as the brain’s way of conserving energy. By shifting frequently repeated actions to the subconscious level, the brain frees up space for the conscious mind to focus on new tasks. This is why habits are so powerful; they allow you to perform complex sequences of actions without even thinking about them.

The process of habit formation can be broken down into three stages:

  1. Cue/Trigger: This is the initial signal that prompts a habitual action. It can be internal (a feeling or thought) or external (a specific time, place, or situation).

  2. Routine: The behavior that follows the cue. This is the habitual action itself, which could range from brushing your teeth to checking your phone first thing in the morning.

  3. Reward: The positive outcome you experience from performing the habit, which reinforces the behavior and makes it more likely to occur again in the future.

Understanding this cycle is crucial because it means you can consciously alter or replace habits by identifying and adjusting the triggers and rewards. By mastering your habits, you gain control over the subconscious patterns that shape your daily life.

Nervous System

Subconscious mind governs our autonomic nervous system. This means it literally controls our heartbeat, breathing, blinking and all processes in all the organs. We don’t have to control how food is processed in the stomach or how to heal a cut, it's all done automatically by the nervous system along with millions if not billions of processes that we have no control over. In this nervous control of the subconscious mind the body is used as an instrument but it's done by its cooperation and apart from the common belief the body does have a mind of its own, more on this later.

Subconscious Mind Communication

The subconscious mind interacts with the conscious mind and the Body through emotions. When thoughts are formed in the conscious mind they are sent to the subconscious mind and it creates an emotion for this thought, this emotion is then carried to the body and it creates a feeling appropriate to the emotion it receives.

The similar is also done vice versa, when a feeling is created in the body it sends a signal to the subconscious mind and it creates an emotion according to the feelings then this emotion is sent to the conscious mind which creates a thought according to that emotion.

Here are few examples that would show this communication network in action:

Example : (Conscious Mind) Thought >  (Subconscious Mind) Emotion > (Body) Feeling

You saw a fast food advertisement on media, a thought is created and sent to subconscious mind this thought creates the emotion of joy, this emotion of joy is sent to the body that creates craving ( feeling )

Example : (Conscious Mind) Thought <  (Subconscious Mind) Emotion < (Body) Feeling

On a winter evening you forgot to wear your coat and you are feeling freezing cold, a feeling is created in the body then sent to the subconscious mind, it creates an emotion of fear, this emotion is sent to the conscious mind that creates a picture inside your head of catching cold.

Creation of Belief

If this process is initiated from the body and the conscious mind accepts the emotions received from the subconscious mind, without any alteration or objection then it sends back a thought to the subconscious mind and it sends emotion down to the body reaffirming the feeling. In time this becomes a strong perception and after several experiences it becomes a part of belief.

Similarly if a thought is created over and over again in the conscious mind its creates an emotion over and over again leading to a feeling in the body over and over again becoming first a perception and then a belief.

This is the foundation of Holistic Health that our thoughts can change not only the state of our mind but the state of our body as well. We can be as healthy as we think we can be and we can be sick as much as we think we can get sick, it's all in the perception and belief.

But this does not stop only at the state of our health, when we take into consideration the Universal laws such as law of vibration then this communication between our minds and body becomes the determining factor of our financial life and relationship status.

Subconscious Mind and Sleep

Unlike the conscious mind the subconscious mind never sleeps. It is always active and it has to remain active as it controls the vital functions of the body. During sleep the subconscious mind works on the thoughts that our conscious mind has given it before sleeping. That is why it’s so important that you concentrate your thoughts on something positive and productive before going to sleep.

This is like you take 6 or 8 hours out of your day to think about something. I think you will agree with me that if what you think about is productive and positive, you will be glad to get the results of spending this time but if what you were thinking was negative and non productive then this will lead to dissatisfaction and disappointment, not to mention the effects on sleep quality due to anxiety of these thoughts.

Researchers say that almost all people suffering from insomnia are negative thinkers.

Subconscious Mind and Time

Imagine if you never slept, always worked and lived in a closed room with no access to the outside world. What would be your concept of time? This is the situation in which the subconscious mind has always been, it has no concept of time and lives forever now because it doesn’t sleep or rest.

Subconscious Mind Judgment

Imagine being born in an isolated environment with no contact to the outside world with just one elder brother taking care of you, everything you see, hear, taste, smell and feel are defined by your brother. This is an example of the relationship between the conscious and the subconscious mind but on a far more deeper level.

Subconscious mind has no contact with the outside world except through thoughts received from the conscious mind and the feelings received from the body hence there is no way for it to form its own judgment. This is why it's also called the subjective mind.

Subconscious mind cannot differentiate between good and evil. These concepts are formed by the conscious mind and then handed over to the subconscious mind to conduct its works in harmony with these concepts.

On the other hand, the subconscious mind is also not aware of the difference between pleasure and pain. Once felt for the first time, feelings of the body are translated into an emotion by the subconscious mind based on the memory of any previously recorded experience, then this emotion and feeling is defined by the conscious mind and a thought is created regarding the experience as being pleasurable or painful, then that thought is recorded in the subconscious mind for future references. (read perception earlier mentioned in this chapter for details )

Data Processing Speed

The Subconscious mind Processes information at 20 Million bits per second which is 500,000 times greater than Conscious Mind’s 400 bits per second. But we must also keep in mind that much of this processing speed is used to govern millions of functions inside the body.

Subconscious Mind & Environmental Influence

As we previously discussed, the subconscious mind relies on the conscious mind to interpret what is being perceived through the five senses. If the conscious mind doesn't fully define an experience, the subconscious will record the raw information as received, associating it with whatever emotion feels appropriate.

The challenge arises when our conscious mind is not fully present. With its limited processing speed, the conscious mind cannot always focus on every detail in our environment. As a result, the subconscious may record impressions that, ideally, should have been defined more clearly or perhaps not recorded at all. Once these impressions are stored in the subconscious memory bank, undoing or redefining them requires deliberate effort.

This is why the environment—whether physical or virtual—has a profound impact on our psychology. The subconscious mind is constantly absorbing information from our surroundings, which subtly influences our thoughts, behaviors, and emotions.

Here are a few examples:

Physical Environment:

  • Regularly associating with critical or negative individuals can gradually make you more critical, even when you're no longer in their presence.

Virtual Environment:

  • Consuming television shows filled with tension and tragedy can leave you feeling tense and sad, affecting your mood long after you’ve turned off the screen.

These environmental influences imprint themselves on your subconscious and inevitably shape your day-to-day decisions, often beyond your conscious control. This is why all major religions emphasize the importance of surrounding yourself with positive company and uplifting influences.

Subconscious Mind & Imagination

The subconscious mind does not distinguish between real events and imagined ones. To the subconscious, vividly imagining an experience is the same as physically being there. This is why it's crucial to be mindful of what we think and say, as it creates a genuine experience for the subconscious mind. When your subconscious is convinced of something, your body responds accordingly—following the emotions generated by those thoughts.

By intentionally focusing on positive thoughts, speaking affirmations, and surrounding yourself with uplifting influences, you can harness the power of imagination to bring about beneficial changes in both your mind and body. The subconscious mind, coupled with a positive environment, can transform your inner reality into a more fulfilling external experience.

The Female Mind

The subconscious mind, often referred to by some scholars as the unconscious or subjective mind, derives these names from its nature—it operates beneath conscious awareness and processes emotions, memories, and instincts. To understand why it is sometimes associated with femininity, we must set aside modern perspectives on gender equality and delve into the unique attributes that differentiate men and women, as intended by Allah.

Equality and Uniqueness in Divine Design

In terms of rights and value, men and women are equal in the eyes of Allah. However, their functions and natures differ. Allah beautifully illustrates this distinction in the Quran, comparing men and women to two rivers: One is sweet and palatable, and the other is salty and bitter, yet both hold treasures within them. When these rivers meet, they do not mix but flow side by side, complementing each other on their journey.

Similarly, the conscious mind and subconscious mind are not equal in function but are complementary partners in life. Each has its unique purpose and strengths, and together they form a harmonious whole.

The Masculine and Feminine Minds

  • Conscious Mind (Masculine)
The conscious mind is logical, analytical, and rooted in reason. It lacks emotional depth, much like the traditional characteristics associated with masculinity. Its strength lies in its ability to make decisions, set directions, and think critically.

  • Subconscious Mind (Feminine)
The subconscious mind is emotional, intuitive, and nurturing, akin to traditional feminine qualities. It does not think independently but feels, remembers, and guides based on the emotional imprints it has received.

This distinction does not imply superiority or inferiority but highlights the synergy between the two minds. Just as men and women are uniquely equipped to fulfill complementary roles, the conscious and subconscious minds depend on each other to function optimally.

A Partnership, Not a Competition

Modern narratives often pit men and women against each other, advocating for a notion of equality that dismisses their inherent differences. This perspective undermines the beauty of their distinct roles and their partnership. Likewise, the conscious and subconscious minds are not meant to compete but to collaborate.

The conscious mind leads with thought, while the subconscious mind provides emotional power and intuition. Together, they create a balance essential for navigating life.

Understanding the subconscious mind as the female mind is a metaphor that honors its nurturing, emotional, and intuitive qualities. It complements the male mind, which offers logic, direction, and decision-making. When these two minds—like sweet and salty rivers—flow side by side in harmony, they unlock the treasures of human potential.

Chapter 7 - The Body Mind

Introduction The Body Mind

Did you know that when a child begins to form in the mother’s womb, the heart develops before the brain?

Recent research reveals that many body organs contain brain-like cells, enabling them to perform vital functions independently of the brain. For instance, you may have heard of cases where a person is declared brain-dead due to a severe head injury, yet their body continues to function. This is possible because the body itself possesses its own "semi-brain" system, which is entirely submissive to the commands of the subconscious mind.

This intricate system is what we call The Body Mind. It operates behind the scenes, managing essential processes and ensuring the body's functionality. However, its efficiency and decisions are heavily influenced by gut bacteria, a fascinating and essential factor we will explore further in this chapter.

To better understand the relationship between the three minds, let’s compare them to an organizational hierarchy:

  • The Conscious Mind acts as the president of the company, setting goals and making high-level decisions.

  • The Subconscious Mind is the CEO, executing strategies and providing commands to maintain overall operations.

  • The Body Mind represents the team of managers overseeing specific departments, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

  • And finally, the Gut Bacteria can be likened to external vendors or third-party workers who subtly influence the managers and their departments.

Together, these minds form a dynamic and interconnected system that governs our being, blending conscious decisions, subconscious processes, and the intricate workings of the body mind.

Leading Cause Of All Diseases

All organs in the body have to work in harmony for growth and survival  but when your subconscious mind and conscious mind are in conflict with each other this body mind also starts working in discord leading to many physical diseases.

This discord happens when you are deliberately or unintentionally changing your routines, whether it be your diet, sleep, work or all together. Your body is continuously responding to the emotions created by your thinking whether you pay attention to these responses or not.

Unfortunately in today's world ruled by Pharmaceutical giants, media and educational institutes have propagated for more than 100 years now that disease is in the body and mind has nothing to do with it, but in reality disease is created by the mind and the body shows symptoms of it.

When the conscious mind is not in harmony with the subconscious mind, the body receives mixed signals, leading to confusion and poor decision-making. For example, imagine you don’t want to be in the company of someone, but for reasons dictated by your conscious mind—such as social obligation or fear of judgment—you stay. This creates an internal conflict where your emotions resist, but your thoughts force compliance.

In such moments, the emotional strain exhausts the conscious mind, leaving it less capable of regulating other behaviors. If your body signals hunger during this time, the exhausted conscious mind struggles to make logical, healthy decisions. Instead, the subconscious mind, guided by habits and immediate emotional relief, takes over. Without conscious guidance, you may instinctively reach for unhealthy comfort foods—refined sugars, oils, or trans fats—seeking satisfaction without regard for their harm.

This pattern transfers emotional stress into physical harm. The body, needing the conscious mind to guide its choices, suffers when that guidance falters. Over time, this habit of emotional eating conditions your body to crave more food, not because of genuine hunger, but to fill an emotional or habitual void. The taste buds adapt to unhealthy flavors, reinforcing the cycle.

Meanwhile, internal organs operate under conflicting demands. Those under some direct control of the conscious mind, like muscles during exercise, may work in one direction, while others, like the digestive system or liver, struggle to manage the toxic overload from poor dietary choices. This dissonance causes strain on the body as a whole, creating a system at odds with itself.

Another example of how the conflict between the conscious and subconscious mind impacts the body is seen in the over- or under-functioning of certain organs, such as the thyroid, pancreas, liver, or heart. These organs rely on direction from the subconscious mind to work in harmony. However, when the subconscious mind is at odds with the conscious mind, this harmony is disrupted.

Without coherent signals from the subconscious mind—due to its ongoing struggle with the conscious mind—these organs can act unpredictably, much like traffic without signals or a sergeant to guide it. The result is dysfunction: an overworked thyroid might lead to hyperthyroidism, while an underactive one can cause fatigue and weight gain. Similarly, the pancreas may produce too much or too little insulin, leading to imbalances like diabetes.

This lack of direction leaves the body's systems disorganized and prone to inefficiency or even harm, illustrating the importance of a united and harmonious relationship between the conscious and subconscious minds.

The real cause of most diseases is not merely physical but deeply rooted in emotional and psychological conflict. Modern medicine often focuses on treating symptoms—addressing the surface manifestations of the problem—while leaving the underlying causes untouched. But in truth, 99.9% of the time, the root of disease lies in unresolved emotions and the internal battles we fight every day.

When your conscious mind forces you to endure situations or actions that you deeply dislike or reject, it creates an internal dissonance. This dissonance is stored in the subconscious mind as unprocessed emotions, stress, or resentment. Over time, these unresolved feelings affect the harmony of your body’s systems, weakening your immune response, disrupting hormonal balance, and impairing the function of vital organs.

If, instead of suppressing or ignoring these emotions, you take the time to truly understand and reconcile them—finding peace with what you dislike or making mindful changes to your circumstances—you can prevent many illnesses. This is because the body follows the mind, and when the mind is at peace, the body thrives.

Fighting symptoms without addressing the emotional or psychological root is like mopping up water without fixing the leak. True healing begins when you listen to your emotions, work towards harmony between your conscious and subconscious minds, and make choices that honor both your body and soul.

Microbiome

The gut, also known as the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, is the passageway of the digestive system that stretches from the mouth to the anus.

Within this passage lies a fascinating world: approximately 35 trillion bacteria, fungi, and viruses coexist here. Despite being microscopic, if you were to remove all these microorganisms from the body and measure their combined mass, they would equal the size of the human brain.

These gut bacteria are far more than passive passengers; they are essential allies in maintaining our health. Their primary role is to aid in digestion and the synthesis of vitamins, minerals, and enzymes that the body needs. In essence, the gut acts as the body’s internal pharmacy, capable of producing an astonishing array of substances to fulfill the body’s requirements.

This microscopic ecosystem, often referred to as the gut microbiome, plays a pivotal role in our overall well-being. Its proper functioning not only affects digestion but also influences immunity, mood, and even cognitive function—a testament to the profound connection between our gut and the rest of our body

Gut-Brain Connection

A question arises: if the body is entirely under the control of the brain, why do we refer to the body as having a separate mind?

The answer lies in a deeper understanding of gut bacteria and their remarkable abilities.

Previously, we learned that the microbiome, the collective community of bacteria, fungi, and viruses in our gut, is physically comparable in size to our brain and is essential for producing vitamins, minerals, and enzymes that the body itself cannot generate. However, the gut's capabilities go far beyond digestion.

These microorganisms can also produce hormones that influence our feelings and neurotransmitters that send commands throughout the body. These are the same types of chemical messengers that the brain and nervous system use to regulate thoughts, emotions, and bodily functions.

In essence, the gut has the capacity to act like a subconscious brain, sometimes even taking over its role. This intricate system of communication between the gut and brain is often referred to as the gut-brain axis. The gut’s influence is so profound that it has earned the title of the “second brain.”

On a lighter note, this concept even suggests a wild idea: if the gut can act independently and take over critical functions, then the idea of zombies—creatures controlled by an alternate system—might not be as far-fetched as it seems!

Food and Gut Bacteria

Bacteria, like animals, are instinctively driven by nature. When they feel threatened, they react by producing hormones and neurotransmitters to safeguard their survival. A clear example of this is cravings. Cravings can originate either psychologically (from your conscious or subconscious thoughts) or biologically, where the gut bacteria generate signals for the food they need to sustain themselves based on the nutrients they derive from it.

Environment and Gut Bacteria

Gut bacteria rely not only on food but also on their surrounding environment for survival. Unlike the outside world, the gut does not experience weather changes, but its environment is influenced by two critical factors:

  1. Water Intake
Water plays a vital role in digestion, regulating body temperature, and maintaining a stable environment for gut bacteria. Dehydration can create acidic conditions in the gut, favoring harmful bacteria and viruses. In contrast, good bacteria thrive in a well-hydrated body.

  2. Emotional State
Emotional health is equally crucial. Persistent stress, for example, elevates stomach acid levels, creating an environment that benefits harmful bacteria while compromising the survival of beneficial ones.

How Gut Bacteria Controls Your Mind

When gut bacteria face nutritional deficiencies or unfavorable environmental conditions, they respond in fascinating and complex ways:

  1. Production of Hormones and Neurotransmitters
Gut bacteria produce hormones that cause specific feelings or cravings within your body. They do this by stimulating neurotransmitters, which in turn instruct organs to mass-produce hormones. This process can trick your subconscious mind into thinking these hormones are natural signals from your body.

  2. Influence on Subconscious and Conscious Mind
These bacteria-induced hormones influence the subconscious mind, which interprets them as emotions. These emotions, in turn, shape the conscious mind’s thoughts, leading to cravings or behaviors that satisfy the bacteria's nutritional needs or environmental demands.

  3. Temporary Takeover of Control
In this state, the gut bacteria essentially hijack your body-mind system. Your thoughts and actions, driven by subconscious influences, aim to create an environment or provide nutrition that supports bacterial survival. Once their needs are met, the overproduction of hormones stops, and your mind regains its normal state of operation.

This phenomenon explains why people often say, "I don’t know what came over me," when they act out of character. The gut’s influence was at play, temporarily overriding the natural harmony of the mind and body.

Burden of Blame

If the body-mind has such a powerful influence over the body, does this absolve the conscious mind from responsibility for one's actions? Absolutely not. The conscious mind bears full accountability because it retains the power to make deliberate decisions—such as what to eat or avoid—and possesses the unique ability to observe and reflect on its own thoughts.

The conscious mind serves as the ultimate authority in guiding behavior, even when subconscious influences or body-mind cravings come into play.

The Purpose of Understanding

The goal of learning about the conscious, subconscious, and body-mind is to empower the reader with a clear understanding of how these systems function. This knowledge enables individuals to harness their conscious mind to:

  • Observe and analyze their thoughts.

  • Recognize and transform harmful habits.

  • Cultivate behaviors that align with their true preferences and goals.

By understanding these interconnected systems, you can free yourself from feelings of helplessness or being "out of control.

Body-to-Mind and Mind-to-Body Cycles

These cycles are natural and essential for daily functioning.

  • Body-to-Mind Example: When your body senses the need to excrete waste, it triggers a feeling. This feeling creates an emotion of urgency in the subconscious mind, which leads to a conscious thought—deciding to go to the restroom or find an alternative.

  • Mind-to-Body Example: When you consciously think about a specific food, your body responds with cravings, preparing your digestive system to receive it.

While these mechanisms are beneficial for survival, they can also be misused when shaped by harmful habits or environmental influences.

Mental Cycle and Addictions

The body and mind are inextricably linked through a continuous feedback loop driven by hormones, feelings, emotions, and thoughts. When the body receives a steady supply of a particular hormone—such as stress hormones—it can develop an addiction to them. This addiction manifests as cravings, leading to the generation of feelings, which trigger corresponding emotions in the subconscious mind. These emotions, in turn, create matching thoughts, which reinforce the cycle, moving from body to mind and mind to body.

The Subconscious and Body's Reliance on the Conscious Mind

Neither the subconscious mind nor the body differentiates between good or bad. They operate based on what they’ve been trained to recognize as normal. For example:

If you've consumed harmful foods for an extended period, the gut microbiomes that rely on that food will adapt and thrive. When you stop consuming it, these bacteria—fighting for survival—send signals to the subconscious mind, generating feelings of hunger and emotional states like sadness or anger. This pressure urges the conscious mind to reconsider. If you give in, the cycle perpetuates. If you resist, the pressure will eventually subside.

How Long Does This Pressure Last?

Changing habits, especially deeply ingrained ones, requires conscious effort and patience. This brings us to:

The Law of Time

Through my journey of losing 57 kg and observing others' transformations, I've identified a pattern of behavioral change that I call the Law of Time:

  1. First 3 Days: Very hard – The body and subconscious mind strongly resist the change, creating intense cravings or discomfort.

  2. After 7 Days: Hard – The resistance lessens slightly but is still challenging.

  3. After 11 Days: Not that hard – The mind and body begin to adapt, and the pressure weakens.

  4. After 40 Days: Easy – The new habit feels natural, and cravings for old habits diminish significantly.

  5. After 100 Days: A Habit – The behavior is now part of your routine.

  6. After 2 Years: Part of Your Personality – The habit becomes a seamless, permanent aspect of who you are.

Transformation is not instantaneous. It demands resilience and trust in the process. By consciously guiding your body and mind through the stages of change, you can break free from harmful cycles and replace them with habits that align with your goals. The law of time reminds us that patience and persistence are the true ingredients of lasting change.

Chapter 6 - The Ego (Nafs)

Ego, or Nafs, is often mischaracterized as an inherently evil aspect of human beings, a misunderstanding perpetuated by some scholars and saints across various traditions. However, God Himself has never labeled the Ego as inherently good or evil. So, if these interpretations are flawed, what truly is the Ego?

The answer lies in the Quran, Surah Ash-Shams (91:9-10):
"He has succeeded who purifies it (the Ego), and he has failed who corrupts it."

Who is the one addressed here? It is the soul—the spirit or consciousness, as we have already explored. Both the subconscious mind and the body mind align themselves with the directives provided by the conscious mind.

This raises an important question:

What is Ego?

Is it the subconscious mind? Or is it the body mind?

The answer to both is yes. Ancient wisdom and modern research reveal that the Ego is the union of the subconscious mind (the emotional mind) and the body mind (the feeling mind).

This means that the Ego is not a singular entity but a collaboration between the subconscious and body mind. Together, these two systems communicate independently of the conscious mind, forming a complex partnership. This partnership—the seamless interaction between emotion and physical sensation—is what we call the Ego.

Therefore, the Ego, like any other aspect of our being, is neither inherently good nor evil. Its purity or corruption depends entirely on the choices and directions provided by the conscious mind, which holds the ultimate responsibility for guiding this union toward harmony and balance.

Who is Responsible for Our Actions: Our Ego or Our Soul?

Every action we take stems from conscious thought. Even the presence of gut bacteria in our bodies is a result of the food choices we consciously made, setting the stage for specific microbiomes to thrive. This illustrates a profound truth: the Ego is shaped by our thinking.

If the Ego—formed by the union of the subconscious and body mind—relies on the guidance of the Conscious Mind or Soul, how can it be solely responsible for our actions? The root of any perceived evil lies not in the Ego itself but in the uncontrolled patterns of our thoughts, often referred to as paradigms.

The Soul, as the seat of consciousness, carries the ultimate responsibility for steering our thoughts and, through them, shaping the Ego. In this way, the key to righteousness lies in mastering the conscious mind, directing it toward purity and purpose.

The Strength of the Ego

As previously discussed, the Subconscious Mind is approximately 500,000 times stronger than the Conscious Mind. Now, consider the additional strength provided by over 35 trillion gut bacteria and the memory stored in various organs of the body. With this combined power, it would not be an exaggeration to say that the Ego is more than a million times stronger than the Conscious Mind.

But does this immense strength of the Ego mean it is an unchangeable force, beyond our control? Absolutely not. The Ego, despite its power, is fundamentally shaped by your conscious thinking patterns. By consciously altering your thoughts and beliefs, the Ego will begin to adapt and transform accordingly.

Ego has its Own Mind?

The Subconscious Mind, on its own, cannot think, and the Body Mind cannot act independently. However, when these two unite, they form the Ego—a system capable of action and reaction.

The Subconscious Mind brings with it the vast repository of your memories, while the Body Mind operates based on survival and procreational instincts. Additionally, as discussed in previous chapters, the microbiome within your body adds its own agendas to this mix. This union allows the Ego to function in a way that feels as though it is thinking or acting autonomously.

The truth is, the Ego does not inherently create or originate thoughts; it reacts to the environment and your conscious input. It feels and interprets how you perceive it. If you treat it as an adversary, it will respond defensively, becoming an obstacle. However, if you approach it with love and compassion, seeing it as your creation and a partner in this life, it will align with your intentions.

By nurturing and guiding the Ego, you can transform it into one of your greatest allies. This harmony between the Ego and your Soul is essential for fulfilling your highest purpose and creating a balanced, meaningful existence.

Who Wins When Spirit and Ego Fight?

When the Spirit and Ego are at odds, no one truly wins. This internal conflict creates a battlefield within, where clarity and wisdom are overshadowed by stress and confusion. In this chaotic state, the devil finds its opportunity to strike, exploiting the discord and leading you further from the path of righteousness.

Fighting your Ego doesn't make you stronger; it weakens your ability to discern right from wrong. The mental stress of such a struggle clouds your judgment, reducing your thinking capacity to its most primitive, reactionary state. Decisions made under such conditions are often flawed, and when these mistakes are repeated, they transcend errors and become sins—a cycle that traps you in guilt, regret, and further inner turmoil.

Ego in Men vs. Women

As we explored earlier, the subconscious mind is often likened to the "female mind." But what happens when this mind is paired with a male or female body? How does the dynamic of ego differ between men and women?

Ego in Men

A man’s ego is a blend of masculine and feminine elements. While his subconscious mind is inherently "female," his male body introduces masculine hormones that make him less emotional and more rational. This duality gives the conscious mind (reason) an edge over the subconscious mind (emotion).

In essence, a man is composed of two "males" (conscious mind and body) and one "female" (subconscious mind). This design equips him with the capacity to prioritize reasoning over emotional impulses, often reflected in his decision-making and behavior.

Ego in Women

A woman’s ego, on the other hand, comprises two "females" (subconscious mind and body) and one "male" (conscious mind). Her female body supports her subconscious mind with hormones that amplify her emotional depth and sensitivity. This design makes her more emotionally driven and less influenced by pure reason compared to men.

This emotional nature is why the Quran mentions that a woman’s testimony counts as half, not as a limitation, but because her heightened emotions—whether driven by love or hate—can potentially affect her judgment. However, this emotional capacity is not a weakness; it is her strength.

For example, only a woman can bear a child and endure the intense pain of labor. The unconditional love and care she provides come not only from her subconscious mind but also from her body’s unique design. Even beyond motherhood, her emotional resilience allows her to nurture and love unconditionally. A grown man, in many ways, remains a child at heart, and a woman’s ability to bear his faults and love him regardless is unparalleled.

This is not a sign of weakness but of immense strength. A man, by his very nature, strives to provide for and protect this incredible counterpart. His actions, efforts, and even sacrifices often aim to bring happiness to her. If you doubt this, take a look at any supermarket: countless products are designed for women, and the majority are paid for and produced by men. Even in today’s modern world, where women have gained independence, over 80% of businesses serving women are still owned and operated by men.

However, in today’s world, women are often conditioned from an early age to believe that to be powerful, they must emulate men while retaining their feminine identity. This approach ignores the beauty of their natural design. Women are created as the queens of a man’s heart and home. They need not compete to achieve what is inherently theirs by design.

When a woman embraces her true nature and takes pride in who she is, she unlocks her full potential. A man, by nature, will strive to do everything for her—this is the original design of creation. Those who teach otherwise are not true allies, as they often have hidden agendas.

Thus, a woman’s ego is uniquely composed of two "females" and one "male," making her an extraordinary creation with immense emotional and nurturing power.

Death of Ego

Many saints and preachers mistakenly advocate for the "death of the Ego" as a prerequisite to piety. But where did this idea originate? Certainly not from God, for the Ego—the union of the subconscious mind and body mind—is essential to our existence. Without it, life itself ceases. The task is not to kill the Ego but to guide it, bending it in alignment with your higher will.

This can be achieved through three approaches: Force, Diplomacy, and Passion.

Force

Using force involves relying on willpower to control actions that arise from the Ego. Over time, consistent effort can lead to the formation of new habits. For example, abstaining from smoking or sugary foods can train your Ego to adopt healthier behaviors.

However, this method has a fundamental flaw: the conscious mind, which drives willpower, is not always present. It’s fluid and often distracted. This inconsistency makes it difficult to enforce change, as the Ego reverts to its deeply ingrained patterns when the conscious mind falters.

Force may bring temporary results, but it often leads to frustration when old habits resurface.

Diplomacy

Diplomacy takes a more cooperative approach. It involves acknowledging the Ego’s desires, understanding their origins, and negotiating alternatives. This might include establishing reward systems ("If I follow my diet during the week, I can indulge on the weekend") or even punishment systems for undesirable behaviors.

While this method respects the Ego’s existence and rights, it also depends heavily on the conscious mind’s ability to remain present. Like force, diplomacy often falters because the conscious mind cannot consistently ensure justice or fairness in the negotiations.

Diplomacy offers a more sustainable approach than force but still struggles with inconsistency.

Passion

Passion transcends the limitations of force and diplomacy. When you channel passionate love or even passionate hate into a goal, it unites the conscious, subconscious, and body minds into a single, unstoppable force. This harmony between Spirit and Ego drives an individual with unparalleled focus and determination.

A passionate person becomes a force of nature—unstoppable, relentless, and immune to distractions or hardships. For them, there are no barriers, only the fulfillment of purpose.

Examples of Passion:

  • Blessed Passion of Love: Hussain (A.S.) bowing in prostration, even in the face of death, embodies love for God and humanity.

  • Cursed Passion of Hate: Shimir, driven by hatred, beheading Hussain (A.S.) in the same moment of prostration.

Both individuals were driven by passion, but their intentions and outcomes were worlds apart.

The Role of Passion in Life

Passion is driven by desire and people without passion rarely achieve great good or great evil—they simply follow the passionate leaders around them. Governments, education systems, and religious institutions often discourage passion because it makes people unpredictable and uncontrollable. This fear stems from humanity's greatest fear: the fear of the unknown.

"Blessed is the one who channels passion through love, for they unite Spirit and Ego in the service of divine purpose."

By choosing passion as your guide and ensuring it aligns with love and higher wisdom, you unlock the Ego’s potential as your most powerful ally.

Chapter 9 - Reprogramming For Success

Prayers, Meditations & Repetition

“No religion is evil but only misterpreted”

Affirmations

There no single type of affirmation but normally it is considered to be a statement that you repeat to yourself over and over again, here are some other types of affirmations you might have noticed or heard about:

Vocal Affirmations: are to implant a thought through words in the subconscious mind in order to achieve the desired feeling.

Body Affirmations: Is doing a certain body movement to implant a thought in the muscle memory to induce feelings.

Breathing Affirmations: Breathing exercises are to relax your mind and body to become more receptive of the offered suggestion, also it is to induce a feeling of claim that comes when all worries have perished and you are safe.

Visual Affirmations : You look at an image or video multiple times to induce a feeling.

Audio Affirmations : You listen to a song, music, statement or any audio that induces feelings.

Imagination Affirmation : You imagine a scenario that leads to the feeling that you are trying to attain.

Many times the above affirmations are also used in combination.

Remember the keyword in all the above-mentioned affirmations is  “feeling”, as mentioned in chapter regarding law of vibration, feelings are transmitted out as vibration, bringing back with them whatever resonates with the feeling. So in reality all types of prayers and meditations are in order to invoke this law to your favor by bringing you what you desire the most.

Power of Repetition

In all the religions the power of repetition is recognised in the form of prayers and meditation.

The key is self suggestion and self conditioning, which is done by conscious use of affirmations.

This self suggestion and conditioning is to express a belief so many times that it gets implanted in the subconscious mind as perceived reality (knowing).

Repetition is also important due to the fact that the conscious mind moves rapidly from thought to thought and this leaves a small window of focus and if a certain suggestion is repeated several times then it's bound to hit the mark at least once.

Example Reading a Book

Imagine you're reading a book for the first time. As you go through the pages, your conscious mind might wander—perhaps thinking about what you need to do later in the day or recalling a conversation you had earlier. Even though your eyes are scanning the words, your mind is shifting between thoughts, leaving only brief moments of true focus.

However, if you read the same passage again, or even highlight key points, the repetition starts to sink in. By the third or fourth time, the meaning becomes clear, and certain phrases begin to resonate. The act of repeating the information is what makes it stick, allowing the deeper understanding to take root.

This is why we often remember quotes, key concepts, or lessons only after encountering them multiple times. Each repetition strengthens the connection, ensuring the message eventually hits the mark and becomes a part of your subconscious.

Repetition and Motivation

Have you ever noticed how you attend a seminar or watch an inspiring video, and suddenly, you're filled with motivation? You start applying the suggestions, seeing results, feeling a shift, but then, out of nowhere, you stop. Slowly, you return to your old habits as if the motivation had vanished.

A great example within the Muslim community is Ramadan. During this sacred month, everyone seems to elevate their spirituality—fasting, praying, giving to charity. But once Ramadan ends, many gradually slip back into their old routines, leaving behind the habits that brought them closer to their faith.

Another common example is starting a daily exercise routine. You might stick with it for a few weeks, seeing progress as you lose weight and gain strength. But then, due to a change in your routine or a temporary obstacle, you stop. And once that obstacle is gone, you never quite resume the workout.

So, what goes wrong?

The motivational thought that sparked your initial action has faded. That inspiration, which drove you to make changes, wasn’t nurtured. You took action but didn’t sustain the psychological motivation that fueled it. As the thought disappeared, the action soon followed.

To keep yourself on track, it's essential to maintain the thought behind the action.

This means:

"To maintain the activity, you must sustain the thought behind it."

And how do you sustain that thought? Through repetition.

Effects of Prayers and Meditations

Prayers and meditations exist within every religion, yet over time, many have lost touch with their true purpose. Instead of being seen as tools for personal development, they became viewed primarily as pleas for divine intervention. This shift in understanding has contributed to the decline in the depth of spiritual practices across many faiths.

However, at their core, prayers and meditations are powerful techniques that blend affirmations, physical postures, controlled breathing, and visualization. When practiced with repetition, these elements reprogram the subconscious mind, reshaping how a person perceives their surroundings and life’s events. This inner transformation also alters one’s vibrational frequency, aligning them more harmoniously with positive outcomes and personal growth.

The true essence of these practices lies in their ability to foster internal change, leading to a profound shift in both consciousness and reality.

Reprogramming Through Meditation

Repeating a specific affirmation verbally, moving your body rhythmically, holding a still position, or breathing in a particular way—whether done individually, in combination, or all together—creates thoughts within your mind. These thoughts, in turn, shape your emotions, which ultimately lead to the feelings you experience.

“Meditation is a conscious act of creating emotions and feelings according to your desire.”

The subconscious mind cannot distinguish between what is perceived through the eyes and what is imagined. This means that whatever you think, visualize, or imagine during your prayers or meditations feels real to your subconscious mind. It begins recording and conditioning your body accordingly, aligning it with the reality you are creating in your mind.

So if you say I’m healthy and the image in your head is you being healthy, your subconscious mind will accept that and will start conditioning itself and the body according to it.

Your subconscious mind exists in a state of perpetual "now." So, when you pray by saying "I want something," you're signaling that you are currently in lack of it. The subconscious mind, along with the body, loves to sustain its current state. If your prayer focuses on wanting, what you're really asking is to remain in a state of wanting.

However, if you pray for something once and then repeatedly visualize yourself already having it—backed by clear expectation and belief—then that image of abundance will eventually overpower your present condition of lack. This is why many people report that prayers in languages they don't even understand have helped them. The science behind this is simple: because they don’t comprehend the words, they form no image of lack. Coupled with their unwavering belief and doubtless expectation that the prayer will work.

This process works the opposite way, too. If you say, "I am healthy," but your mind is filled with images of sickness, then that prayer can backfire. The imagination, especially when negative, often wins. This explains why some people feel that affirmations or prayers don't work for them—their internal images of lack cancel out the words they speak. As preachers often say, you need to keep faith.

How do you avoid forming negative images in your mind?
As you’ve learned earlier, gaining the right type of knowledge shapes your beliefs, and when these beliefs combine with others of the same kind, they form faith. With this faith, your prayers have the strength to be answered.

The Perfect Prayer

The perfect prayer is one that is backed by a strong belief in its fulfillment and a doubtless expectation. If you're praying for money, for example, your mind should be filled with an image of already having the money, rather than seeing yourself in lack. The stronger your belief, the faster your prayer will manifest.

One of the best methods I've seen successful people use is that after praying for something once, they immediately begin to give thanks as if they've already received it. Why? Because the One to whom they’ve prayed is All-Hearing and All-Seeing. By expressing gratitude, they affirm that their request has been accepted and that the physical manifestation is already in motion.

Example: Planting a Tree
This is an easy way to understand the process:
When you sow a seed, it takes time for it to sprout from the earth.

  • The seed represents your prayer.

  • Belief is the certainty that it will sprout.

  • Your job is to water it and protect it from harm.

Watering symbolizes your gratitude, and protection from pests and weeds represents guarding against doubt.

Another example: When you ask your boss for a raise and he nods, you immediately thank him and fully expect to see the extra money in your next paycheck. Similarly, God has not only given us a nod but clear assurances in the Quran, Bible, and other religious scriptures that “Ask, and you shall be given.”

In my view, it feels almost disrespectful to repeat the same request to God, knowing He is God and that He never forgets. Repeating the same prayer could imply either disbelief in Him or, God forbid, the assumption that He forgets or ignores prayers. Thankfulness, on the other hand, can be offered countless times. It brings a precious feeling of gratitude and signifies your firm belief not only in God's existence but in the fact that He has already listened to and answered your prayer. This is true faith, and it forms the foundation of the perfect prayer.

Even in reality, God or Infinite Intelligence is not bound by time like we are—He exists in the eternal now. So, when He accepts a prayer, it is already done. But for us, living within time, it may take some time for the result to manifest. If we start to doubt or give up, it means we’ve essentially taken back our prayer, and it becomes undone by God.

Example: The Star Across the Universe

Think of it this way—imagine a star that is billions of light-years away. Due to its immense distance, whatever happens to that star—whether it moves or is destroyed—takes time to become visible to us here on Earth. The star may have moved or even exploded eons ago, but we only see its light today because it has taken that long for the information to reach us. It seems, to our naked eye, as if nothing has happened until suddenly, years later, we witness the event that occurred long ago.

In the same way, when you pray, the answer to your prayer may already be on its way, but it takes time for it to appear in your life due to the natural progression of events. Just because you don't see the result immediately doesn’t mean your prayer hasn’t been accepted—it has, and in the right moment, it will become visible to you. The key is to maintain your faith and gratitude during that waiting period, knowing the result is already set in motion.

As God says in the Holy Quran : “Each news has its time to come and you shall find out soon enough”

Many of the prayers you believe went unanswered may be those that you unknowingly retracted by losing faith, just as if you looked away from that distant star before its light finally reached your eyes.

Persistence is vital for a prayer to be fully answered.

Praying for Self and Others

Praying for someone else is a noble act, one that is rewarded instantly because the blessings you send must first pass through you before reaching the intended person. This is also true for negative intentions, like curses—they go through you first. The power of these prayers or curses is driven by your feelings. The stronger the feeling behind them, the stronger the effect. Since these feelings are felt within you, you are the first to experience their positive or negative consequences. This is why cursing is such a harmful act, not only for the one cursed but for yourself as well.

The same principle applies to how you feel about yourself. Your strongest feelings, whether they are feelings of self-love or self-loathing, become prayers for yourself. Therefore, the more positive and loving your thoughts, the more powerful and uplifting your prayers for yourself become.

When praying for someone, for example, for their health, it is best to pray once for their healing and then, with unwavering faith, continuously give thanks to God for their restored health. While doing so, visualize them as fully healed and healthy. Your faith in their recovery becomes a prayer in itself, powered by your positive imagination and expectation.

Beware of the Backfire

It is important to be cautious of praying for someone’s health while simultaneously holding an image of them as still sick. This internal contradiction can lead to a backfire, where you may inadvertently bring illness upon yourself or another loved one. This principle applies not only to health but also to other areas of life, like love and finances. The feeling behind your prayer, whether positive or negative, sets the vibration for the outcome.

Why Pray Once?

At the end of this chapter, I’d like to address a common question: If praying for a need is an admission of lack, why pray at all, even once? The answer is that recognizing a need or problem is not the same as denying it. Acknowledging the issue allows you to seek a solution, while denial means no solution is required. When you clearly define your problem to God in prayer and then place your faith in His response, you create space for positive results. Prayer is not about dwelling on the lack, but about shifting from asking to trusting, knowing that God has accepted your request.

“God does not need your prayers, you need prayers to keep your head straight”

Chapter 10- Mindful Manifestation

Mastering Meditation for Success
"Prayers can change destiny"

Ah, the last chapter of the book, from where you will start your journey to success, and my Beloved and I will be more pleased with each and every goal you achieve. Truly, from the bottom of my heart, this book was not written to gain money or fame, but it was written for your success. Regardless of your race, nationality, or religion, you are a creation of my Beloved for me, and before we start this chapter, I would like to say unconditionally:

"I love you, and all my prayers are with you."

Now that you know all that is necessary to succeed in this life, this chapter will explain to you the exact tasks you have to perform in order to achieve whatever your heart desires.

Manifestation

Manifestation is the term used when your thoughts (Energy) are converted into physical equivalent (matter).

Manifestation can also be defined as the appearance of a thought in 5 sense reality.

And an easy explanation can be, when what you have imagined comes to be.

Writing Your Goal Statement

Write down all your goals in the present tense, as if they are already achieved. By now, after going through the chapter on goals, you must have calculated exactly what you want. Use this clarity to create a powerful goal statement that reflects your desires. Write this statement at the end of the exercises you have completed in this chapter.

Goal Card

Now that you have defined your goal, it's time to start affirming it. For this, take a small piece of card, like a visiting card, and write down that one desire that drives you (your North Star). On the back, write a verse from the Quran, Bible, or any other quote that you strongly believe in. Laminate this card and keep it with you all the time.

Read this card as soon as you wake up, before doing anything else, even before going to the washroom. Then, read it once during the day and again right before going to sleep. Apart from that, read it several times a day, especially when you're feeling down.

Example of the card:

Front:

Or
Bible: Luke 11:9-10
"[9] And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. [10] For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened."

The Power of Your Goal Card

This card will keep you motivated and help you maintain the vibration needed to attract your desires. Our minds are most receptive to suggestion during two key moments: early in the morning, just as we wake up, and at night, just before we fall asleep.

Why in the morning?
In the morning, your mind is most susceptible to suggestion because you are not yet fully awake. Your thoughts are clear and free from distractions, making it the perfect time to focus on your goal card. By doing this, you set a positive tone for the day and align your energy with your desires, ensuring that your actions and thoughts are directed toward achieving your goals.

Why at night?
At night, just before you sleep, your mind begins to transition into a subconscious state. Whatever you think about during this time is deeply embedded into your subconscious mind, which then works tirelessly, even while you sleep, to bring your desires to reality.

Additionally, throughout the day, we encounter situations that may be negative or distracting, which can easily throw us off track. Your goal card serves as a constant reminder of what truly matters to you, helping you stay focused, aligned, and unwavering in your pursuit.

Muslims who pray, like me, have a great advantage. If they incorporate goal reading with their daily prayers, they can stay in the right vibration 24/7. However, non-Muslims can also take time out of their daily activity—just for 2 minutes—to remember what matters most to them.

Whenever you're reading this card, try to imagine yourself in possession of what you desire, and keep complete faith that the picture you see in your mind is not just imagination but the truth that will reveal itself in time.

Mind Pictures and Movies

Having a picture of what you want in life, whether it’s the type of car, home, or ideal health, is a helpful tool that can complement your goal card affirmations. You can even create a video that features all the things you desire and watch it during your mandatory three-times-a-day meditation.

However, be sure to use these pictures or videos as avatars, not as the exact things you desire. In life, it’s better to receive what’s truly best for you—the things or people that bring you lasting peace—rather than clinging to what you think will make you happy.

This point, which is also mentioned in the Quran, used to scare me. I worried that if I desired something deeply but received something else, I would be stuck with it forever, simply because it was "best" for me. But as I continued my study of life, it became clear that while you might temporarily find yourself with people or things you don’t like, this is only for a moment. When the time comes, and you're ready to receive your blessing, what you get will not only be best for you—it will also be something you love.

All you have to do is give your best in every situation and strive to be the best version of yourself. Everything else will fall into place.

Music

Music is one of the most effective tools you can incorporate into your daily meditations. It creates a "mind movie" in your head, and when the music you're listening to becomes associated with the positive feelings you experience from reading your goal affirmations, it can serve as a powerful motivator anytime, anywhere. You can even play it in the background while you go about your day.

To associate a specific piece of music with your meditation, use the same track for at least a week during your sessions, where you sit down and repeat your goals. After just one week, that music will remind you of your core objectives in life and give you the spirit and energy you need to keep moving forward and achieve your desires.

Avataring

You can only work with what you can imagine. While it's easy to imagine wealth and health, when it comes to imagining love, it's a different story. I strongly advise against imagining being with a specific person you know unless that person shares your feelings and intentions. Why? Because if your desire comes true and that person isn’t truly compatible with you, you could find yourself trapped in a relationship that feels like a prison. But what if there’s someone you're interested in, and you're unsure of their feelings? The first step is to take practical, real-world steps to find out. This doesn't require meditation, just action.

What if You Don’t Know Who Your Beloved Is?

If you don’t know who your beloved is or where she might be, but you have a clear vision of the personality and qualities you’re looking for, as discussed in the goals chapter? As you work on becoming the best version of yourself, there will be no problem recognizing her when she enters your life.

She’ll recognize you, too, because soulmates are drawn to each other naturally. When you align yourself with your desires and purpose, the universe will conspire to bring you together at the perfect time. Trust the process, and know that the love meant for you will find its way—just as you will find her.

But how do you imagine someone you haven't met or haven’t seen in such a light? The answer lies in avataring. Use images of women where their faces aren’t visible—perhaps a side pose, back pose, shadow, or bright light. When you meditate, focus on these pictures and imagine the person you're seeing as your future beloved, soon to enter your life. Remember to use pictures that inspire and arouse your romantic feeling (not just sextual ones).

However, avoid using pictures of actresses or models where their faces are visible, as you might unintentionally fall for the image of that person. Always remember, your focus is on the person destined to be your beloved, and when you meet, everything will align perfectly. You will love her despite any shortcomings, and she will love you despite yours.

For example, she might be a divorced woman unable to have children, and you could be in your 40s, divorced, overweight, and not financially strong. But if you are soulmates, those things won’t matter. She will love you regardless of your income and weight, and you will love her despite her previous marriage or inability to bear children. Just remember, your love will transcend imperfections because you are made for each other.

Listening To Affirmation Recordings

You can record your affirmations using your smartphone and even add background music with some basic free editing apps (I use YouCut from the Play Store). Set the recordings to repeat and listen to them at a low volume as you fall asleep. This practice will help you reprogram your mind for success, as the direct doorway to your subconscious mind is open during this time.

Lethal Combination Meditation

I call this approach "lethal" because it is the most effective meditation combination I know. If you take your smartphone, add some pictures, and write your affirmations on them, then include inspiring background music—preferably the music alongside your audible affirmations—you create a powerful tool.

You can watch this video and read along with your affirmations as soon as you wake up, and then once or more times during the day. At the end of the day, just before going to sleep, watch the video again and read along with it. Let the audio play at a low, comfortable volume as you drift off to sleep.

This practice, in my opinion, will reprogram your mind faster and attract your desires to you.

There are other methods, such as subliminal audio techniques, but I only recommend what I have personally used and found to be effective.

Inner World Vs External World

The key to achieving any goal lies in maintaining a blissful state of mind while moving toward your objective, despite the obstacles life throws at you. To achieve this positive state of mind, you need to live in the reality of your own choice. This can be done through positive visualization, which is why affirmations, goal cards, and other tools exist. Your mind is like a car’s radiator—it needs to stay at a balanced temperature, not too cold and not too hot, in order to keep your engine running smoothly.

As we’ve learned, stress makes you less capable, leading to poor decisions and wasted time—things you later regret. However, if you're able to remain calm and blissful, you can harness the full potential of your mind to recognize opportunities, avoid mistakes, and take advantage of the right circumstances.

Whether you believe that maintaining a positive state of mind puts you into a positive vibration that attracts your desires, or you believe that staying positive helps you make better decisions and improves the quality of your work, ultimately, you will achieve your desires. The outcome is the same.

To attain this positive state of mind, we begin by using verbal affirmations that create images in our heads. If we hold onto these images long enough, they evolve into moving pictures. For example, if you meditate three times a day and visualize yourself with money, after a few days you may start to see yourself spending that money. Your mind will become more creative. At first, it may be difficult to sit still for two minutes of meditation, but with time, you’ll find even two hours may not feel enough. This happens when the inner world begins to feel real. When this inner world is strong, even if things go wrong in the external world, you’ll remain calm because your inner reality is still intact.

Keys to Personal Transformation

  1. Meditate, Especially When It Feels Hard
When meditation feels most difficult, that's the time it’s most important to do it. This is the breaking point of the paradigm — the established thinking loop that must be broken to create a new one that serves your purpose.

  2. Be the Person You Want to Become
Start being today the kind of person you will be once you’ve achieved your goals. Success comes to those who are ready for it. While you might be waiting for success to arrive, remember that success waits for the kind of person she wants to go out with.

  3. Avoid Negativity
Stay away from anything that triggers negative feelings, whether it’s watching certain things, listening to specific music, being with certain people, or engaging in particular activities. Your energy needs to be uplifted, not dragged down.

  4. Indulge in Joy
Elevate your spirit with things you genuinely enjoy, as long as they don’t significantly harm your health or pocket. Whether it’s eating out, taking a trip, or buying something special, nurturing your happiness helps maintain a positive state of mind.

  5. Be Kind to Yourself
If you fall short or revert to old habits, don’t be hard on yourself. The first mistake is already done, but the second would be feeling guilty about it. Instead of dwelling on it, use the experience as motivation to stay on track.

  6. Carry Your Goal Card
Keep your goal card with you at all times and look at it several times throughout the day, especially when you’re feeling down. It will serve as a constant reminder of your purpose and keep you focused.

  7. Keep Your Goals Private
Avoid showing your goal card to others. If someone happens to see it and makes fun of you, don’t argue—stay silent. Your inner world grows stronger when it can endure external pressure. Don’t expect someone unfamiliar with personal development to understand.

  8. Discipline Yourself for 40 Days
Follow these instructions with discipline for 40 days, and soon things will become easier. Even within this period, you’ll notice improvements each passing week.

Manifest Love

  1. Become today exactly the type of person you will be when you're with your beloved, and this will naturally draw her or him closer to you.

  2. Love yourself in the way you desire to be loved. The love you crave is often your ego's way of expressing its needs. When you start giving yourself that love, it will resonate with the external world, putting you in alignment with your beloved’s vibration.

  3. Practice daily meditation, at least three times a day, and feel grateful as if you're already with your soulmate, the partner of your dreams (as defined in your goal statement).

  4. Whenever you feel low, refer to your goal card for reassurance and encouragement.

  5. Use any meditation tools (mind pictures, movies, music, avataring, listening to affirmations, or the lethal combination) to maintain a blissful state.

  6. Visualize spending time with your beloved. Do the things you would enjoy together—taking walks, having dinner, watching movies, and so on.

  7. Sleeping together in your thoughts is incredibly powerful. As you drift off to sleep, imagine your partner is right next to you. This will be your final conscious thought, and your subconscious will keep that loving vibration alive throughout your sleep, drawing her or him closer, even in dreams.

Things to Avoid:

  1. Never argue with your beloved, even in your imagination. Ensure all your inner conversations are filled with love, understanding, and harmony.

  2. Avoid ever imagining conflict or disputes in your visualizations. This is your personal heaven, where everything is perfect.

  3. Never imagine competition in winning your beloved’s heart. She is your soulmate, and you are hers. There is no competition; she is your winner, and you are hers. Even if real life presents challenges, those belong to the external world. Your imagination should serve as a space to relax and keep your mind in a positive vibration, not to seek difficulties where you have full control.

Manifest Wealth

  1. Become today the exact person you will be once you've achieved your financial goals. Embrace the mindset and actions of financial success now.

  2. Do more than you're paid for—whether in a job or in business. Always go above and beyond, adding value wherever you can.

  3. Respect your office time. Be present and work the full hours you're being paid for without taking unnecessary breaks.

  4. Praise others for their achievements and be genuinely happy for them, knowing that the same abundance that blesses them will come to you as well.

  5. Practice gratitude daily through meditation at least three times a day, focusing on being in the financial state you desire. Be grateful for the wealth you're manifesting and for what you already have.

  6. Refer to your goal card whenever you're feeling low or discouraged. Let it remind you of your financial vision and keep you on track.

  7. Use meditation tools such as mind pictures, movies, music, affirmations, or the lethal combination of all these to stay in a high, blissful state.

  8. For 5 minutes daily, watch a motivational video that makes you wanna be wealthy (positive motivation that could even be watching things you want to possess)

  9. Visualize wealth. In your imagination, spend money freely, enjoy your wealth, and live in abundance.

  10. When you earn enough to buy what you want, go ahead and purchase it. This prevents money from feeling "stuck" or wasted—circulation is key to prosperity.

  11. Be thankful for bills and expenses. Each time you receive a bill, thank God and the company providing the service. Say, "God pays all my bills."

  12. Set aside 10% of all income for charity and another 10% for savings. This balance ensures you give back while securing your future.

Things to Avoid:

  1. Never steal from your company or workplace—not even something small like a pen.

  2. Avoid fraudulent work. Engaging in fraud destroys long-term gains and robs you of inner peace.

  3. Don’t compete with others in your office or in life. Wealth is abundant and there’s no need for comparison or competition.

  4. Don’t badmouth money. Never say, "Money is bad." Instead, see it as a tool that allows you to create a life of abundance and service.

  5. Avoid negative self-talk when you see something you want to buy. Don’t say, "I can't afford it." Instead, say, "I can buy anything I want, but I choose not to buy this right now."

  6. Stay away from negative people who constantly criticize or complain about the lack of money. Their energy can impact your own abundance mindset.

  7. Don’t look down on others—whether they have more or less than you. Every person is on their own financial journey.

  8. Avoid showing off. Always seek to create value and do work that genuinely benefits others.

  9. Never sell low-quality products unless you're fully transparent about their value and limitations.

  10. Avoid forceful saving methods like the South Asian committee system. Instead, learn to manage money wisely with balance and intention.

Manifest Health

  1. Affirm your health. Always call yourself beautiful, strong, and healthy when looking at yourself in the mirror.

  2. Use your goal card daily. Whenever negative thoughts of sickness or obesity come to mind, take out your goal card and recite your affirmations—loudly if possible. This helps to reaffirm your commitment to health.

  3. Turn to your goal card anytime you feel low. It will serve as a source of reassurance and motivation, reminding you of your health goals.

  4. Engage with meditation tools such as mind pictures, movies, music, listening to affirmations, or the lethal combination to stay in a blissful, healthy state of mind.

  5. Forgive yourself for slip-ups. If you stray from your diet or exercise plan, don’t condemn yourself. Simply say, “It’s okay, I’ll do better next time.”

  6. Visualize the body you desire. Set your phone and computer wallpaper to images of the body type you are working to manifest, keeping your mind focused on your goal.

  7. Watch sports or other activities that showcase the body type you wish to achieve. It helps maintain focus and visual reinforcement of your goals.

  8. Spend 5 minutes daily watching motivational videos that inspire you to get healthy. Whether it’s workout videos or positive talks, choose content that uplifts you.

  9. Surround yourself with supportive people. Engage only with those who motivate and uplift you in your health journey.

Things to Avoid:

  1. Never label yourself as obese, fat, or overweight. Speak only positive words about your body and health.

  2. Never call yourself sick. Speak of your body as if it’s in perfect health, attracting the energy of wellness.

  3. Avoid company that reminds you of obesity, illness, or brings you down with negativity.

  4. Don’t discuss your health challenges in front of anyone except those who are supportive and motivating. Avoid sharing with people who offer only sympathy without real encouragement.

Some Final Thoughts

At the heart of all the knowledge you’ve gained lies one profound truth: feeling good attracts good. The journey you’ve been on is about aligning yourself with the vibrations of love, health, and wealth, all of which stem from cultivating the right mindset.

You've likely heard the saying, "The rich get richer, and the poor get poorer," and the Holy Bible echoes this truth in Matthew 25:29: “For to everyone who believes has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who believes does not have, even what he has will be taken away.”

The Quran also shares timeless wisdom about belief and trust in the Divine. In Surah Hajj, Ayat 15, we are reminded: “He who thinks God will not support him in this world and hereafter should hang himself to see if that will satisfy his frustration.”

And in Surah Fatah, Ayat 6, it is written: “May punish be the hypocrite men and women and polytheistic men and women, who harbor negative thoughts regarding Allah (and his creations). May ill-fate befall them! Allah is displeased with them. He has condemned them and prepared for them Hell. What an evil destination!”

In Surah Luqman, 31:20, the Quran provides a clear reminder of the blessings we receive: “Have you not seen that Allah has handed you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and has lavished His favours upon you, both seen and unseen? ˹Still˺ there are some who dispute about Allah without knowledge, or guidance, or an enlightening scripture.”

You see, I could give countless references to emphasize these truths, but as the saying goes: “A person convinced against their will is of the same opinion still.”

The Law of Vibration, commonly known as the Law of Attraction, is just like the Law of Gravity—it is neutral and applies to everyone, with no exceptions. It does not take sides or make judgments.

Some may say, "Man has no power, only God can do everything." And to that I ask, who do you think made these laws? These Divine Laws are crafted for you to follow and work in harmony with. In religion, they are known as the habits of God, and as God has said: “My habits never change.”

There is no room for excuses here. You are capable, you are powerful, and you are designed to thrive by living in accordance with these eternal principles.

Congratulations On Completing Rich Minded!
